What is N A T A  ?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture  ( NATA ) measures the Aptitude of the Applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Eligibility for Candidates applying for NATA : 

Any person having Passed SSC (Std X) or equivalent examination can appear for NATA, however, candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject, only are Eligible for Admission to B.Arch. Course.

NATA can be taken as many number of times as desired by the candidate.

Duration: 5 years  (10 semesters) inclusive of 1 year (2 semesters) of internship in the 5th  year of the course.

ELIGIBILITY

Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Qualification: Candidates must have a valid NATA score(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) and must have passed any one of the following courses with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate:

10+2 with Mathematics and English as compulsory subject

OR

3 years  Diploma (any stream)  after  10  years  of schooling recognized by Central/State Government  with mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

ADMISSIONS :

General Admissions: Admissions  are done on the basis  of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination  and the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA).[subject to the guidelines issued by Council of Architecture]

Note: Candidates must submit their application on or beforethe last date and arrange to send the photocopy of their 10+2/diploma marks card and NATA score card so as to reach us on or before 10.06.2018. The application number must be written on the top right corner of the photocopy.

Note: Candidates can apply both under General and Foregin/NRI categories. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

The application material given along with this prospectus can only be used to apply for the General Category.

Merit List: 

General Category: Based on the marks obtained 10 +2and NATA 2017 -2018 (50% weightage to both HSC marks and NATA), Manipal Academy of Higher Education will declare a list of candidates in the order of merit on or before 16.06.2018 in the website.

A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately

Last date for receipt of application: 31.05.2018

Last date for sending NATA score : 15.06.2018

Commencement of Classes: 27.07.2018
