Different Career Option After Class 12th, Commerce

 Best options depend on your interest.

 Business Studies: BBA as a course would appeal to you. Aim for CBS,Delhi

 Accountancy: CA can be a great option you choose. You can either do it along with Graduation, without Graduation or after Graduation. Bcom is the Graduation you can consider as it is heavily accountancy based. SRCC, DELHI is your top option.

 Economics and Math: If you like Economics then you have to like Math or drop both. There is no Economics without diffrentiation. So if you like Economics take up B.A Economics. Best College for that is St-Stephens, Delhi.
At least I did wonder. May be because Delhi university has no state quota and only the best from across India comes there. Hence the salary they draw after Graduating from these Colleges is equivalent to a good MBA degree.

 There are other options that you can consider

 Law- Either plan to do it after class 12, or after Graduation. If after class 12, then it's a 5 year program.

 Mass Communication:  Degree in photography, advertising, PR.

 Design/Fashion Designing- If you are the creative sorts. It's a 4 year degree.


 The first and the foremost thing you need to do is to checkout your own interests and which way you exactly want to go. This will make things a bit easier for you and help you in taking the right career decision.

 These are just few of the major courses that you can select from after 12th commerce, there might be many others.
To have guidance from your parents, friends, relatives and other experienced persons really helps, but the ultimate decision should be yours. Your career decision should be taken by keeping in mind your own interests and what you want to become in life.

 After B. Com / BBA  you have a wide scope to choose a Career path. But choosing a Career is dependent upon many things like, your interest, Passion, and the hard work you are ready to give.

There are various options you can choose

 Most Famous one’s are :

 MBA from B-Schools or Top Local College.
Professional Course like CA, CS or CMA[India, US or UK].
Professional Courses in core Finance Areas like CFA or FRM.
You can do also do LLB [ in combination with CA or CS is added advantage].

 MCom with Ph.D if you have leaning towards Teaching Side
You can Write some Government Exams like Civils, SSC or UPSC or Bank Exams.
You can also take a break from studies and join some Job for 1 or 2 Years and then you can pursue any educational course.

 There are some option you can take:

 CA [Chartered Accountant] : CA is one of the respectful Professional Course and it requires a lots of hard work to complete. But Career-wise it is one the best Course you can take.

 CMA[cost and management accountant] : CMA is also a great option and there is huge demand in market for this Profesional course. And it also require time & hard work.

 CS[Company secretary] : CS takes less time compare to CA & CMA course. It's basically about Law, rules regulation or you can say Its more theory base.

 CFA[ Chartered Financial Analyst] : CFA is a International  Course which is globally accepted. And if you want to make your Career in finance then this is a very good option. CFA is US based.

 MBA[ Master in Business & Administration] MBA is a post graduate degree in management. But it will be worth if you do from the top B schools of the country because it requires a huge investment. If you want to get into top B schools then give entrance exam like CAT, XAT and IIFT and many more and try to score best in GD, PI.

 And if you want to make your Career in a government sector then there also many option. And many competitive exam you can give like Bank PO/ Clerk, SSC, Railways, RBI.
And UPSC is also a very good option if you want serve you country and society. But you have to give large amount of time with full focus to crack this exam. The selection percentage is 0.1%. By this percentage you can assume the toughness level.
I am providing you some option and there are many more others option. But which option you are going to take is totally depend upon you. And before choosing a Career path you must research deeply and get information in more details by your own way.

 Here are the different Career options after the B.com graduation.

 1. Accountant
After your graduation immediately you can work as an accountant and most of the fresh commerce graduates look for a job as an accountant. Accountant is required in all types of industries. Every company requires accountant to run their business and to keep track of profit and loss of their company.

 2. Tax Consultant
Taxation you learn in college itself, after graduation you can work as a tax consultant with any firm and get some experience. Later on you can independently work as a Tax consultant or work from home or can also start your own firm.

 3. Human Resource
Fresh B.com graduates can work as HR person or can also do their Masters in Human Resource. Later on you can work as independent HR person also.

 4. Banker
You can check the recruitment ads or the banks website they mostly hire the commerce graduates. Even many banks hire the fresh commerce graduates also. You can get a job in any bank by registering on the banks websites or by following the employment news.

 5. BPO / KPO
Most of the BPO’s / KPO’s [Business Process Outsourcing / Knowledge Process Outsourcing ] prefer commerce graduates and you in BPO/KPO you can work as client serving executive, customer Care executive and Team leader. In this outsourcing companies there are lots of opportunities and they offer a good pay package.

 6. Auditor
Auditor is the upper position after the accountant. As an auditor you have to check financial statement and accounting ledgers. As an auditor you have to work with several clients and have to travel also.

 8. Stock Broker
After graduation you can do any small Course in stock trading and get the knowledge. Finance, Mathematics and Economic subject will help you a lot as a Stock Broker.

 9. Lecturer
After Bachelors of commerce you can do two year Course of Masters of Commerce [M.com] and can work as a commerce lecturer in college or universities.

 10. Export Import Manager
All the big companies doing Export Import need Export Import Assistant/ Manager for documentation work, custom work etc. You can join as a fresher or can do specialization in Export Import after graduation.

 11. Finance Consultant
As a financial consultant you can advice one on the savings, retirement planning, financial planning about the future etc and can save them from the future money crisis.

 12. Insurance Consultant
After B.com in Banking and Insurance you can work in Insurance Industry as an Insurance Advisor or Insurance consultant etc

 13. CA / Cost & Work Accountant / Company Secretary
Chartered Accountant [CA] / Cost and Work Accountant [CWA] / Company Secretary [CS] are the more advanced Career option after B.com you can give the exams while you are in college also.

 14. Event Manager
We all know how the Event Management business is getting the importance day by day. After graduation you can do Masters in Event Management and later can work as Event Manager.

 15. Travel Agent / Travel Manager
After graduation you can work with Travel and Tourism Industry. Marketing, Accounts and Costing subject will help you a lot in this field.

 16. Government Jobs
B.com graduates can give competitive exams and can try their luck to get government job in civil services, public sector, government banks etc. Check B.com jobs here.

 17. Lawyer
To become lawyer even after B.com graduate you can do LLB and then get the experience by working under lawyer and then later in life can start working independently as a lawyer.

 18. Market Researcher
As a market researcher your work is to do market research and let know the company about the market trend, market competitors before launching any new product or before taking any important decision.

 19. Entrepreneur
Even after B.com graduation you can start working as an Entrepreneur as during your graduation you learn about accounts, tax, marketing, finance and insurance also. If you are starting small scale business you can work as a sole entrepreneur as you know lots of things of the business.

 20. Hotel Management
B.com graduates can also work with Hotel Industry and can do specialization in Hotel Management. For Hotel Management costing knowledge is required.

 21. Economist
To work as an economist you have do Masters of Commerce [M.com] in Economics or m.b.a in economics.

 22. Administrative Job
A fresh B.com graduate can work as Administrative in any type of industry. For administrative job a degree and computer knowledge will help a lot.

 B.com graduates with MBA, M.com or any diploma in any field will help a lot and will have more successful Career opportunities.
