All the things that require ZeroTalent but still can lead to Success

"Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates a genius from a Successful person is hard work."

If you think you needTalent for your Success, you are wrong.

Everyone is created equal. But not everyone puts in their ten-thousand hours to be Successful. Roman philosopher Seneca said, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity". And it's absolutely true.

Everyone has some ability, a special skill. And in that particular area, they can achieve anything if they work with their heads down.

So here are the top ten things that require ZeroTalent and still determine your Success.

1.Be on Time

Many people have a habit of being late to meetings, late to work, meeting with mentors and important clients.

Being on Time takes ZeroTalent and shows that you are honest and trustworthy. It also shows that you value the little things in life. Most of the great opportunities we get in life come as a result of the small choices we make every day. Make small choices wisely to increase your chances of Success.

And finally, for most people, Time is money. So if you're late in a business negotiation, you've wasted the other person's precious Time, and potentially hurting your own future Success. Every second counts, every decision matters.

2. Make an Effort

“It had long come to my attention that people of achievement rarely sit back and let things happen to them. They went out and made things happen.”

Many people have a habit of cutting corners in life. This applies to work, relationships, finances, etc. For example, many people never take the Time to build financial skills and end up paying thousands of rupees in credit card debt to their bank.

When it comes to work, some people simply watch the clock waiting for their workday to end, regardless of the quality of their work. Put your mind and soul in your work because your effort determines your Success.

3. Being 'High Energy'

It takes no hiddenTalent to have high energy and yet it determines your Success. Eat, sleep, exercise - get these three basic elements right and you'll have high energy throughout the day.

4. Having a Positive Attitude

Having a positive attitude is essential for doing creative work and this largely determines your Success. When you are negative, you not only sabotage your own efforts, but you also act as a stumbling block in the path of others' Success.

When your attitude is positive, you feel positive emotions. And studies have shown that harnessing positive emotions is essential to being Successful.

5. Being Emotional

It takes ZeroTalent to bring out your inner child and get excited about things. It's as easy as having a positive attitude. Remember when you were a kid and it was so easy to get excited for the most mundane things.

Bring that enthusiasm back, don't let the noise of the world kill your inner child, your passion, the love of your life. Use the same enthusiasm as children, to increase the chances of Success.

6. Using Good Body Language

Body language is not only important in business and determines your chances of Success to a great extent. But it also determines the quality of your relationships, your mental health, your physical health, etc.

So if you're chatting with someone, make eye contact to show interest. Similarly, a firm handshake shows trust and honesty. One important thing to note is how you walk. Confident people walk with their stomach in, chest out, shoulders back and head up.

7. Being a Coachable

It's important to believe that you can do it. But it is equally important to listen to the feedback and learn from it. So if an expert in your field says you're doing it wrong, take their feedback instead of taking it as a personal attack. Feedback is a great tool for your Success. use it.

Many people have a fragile ego and cannot tolerate criticism. Be open to criticism and be prepared to learn, that's the only way you will move forward.

8. Flying an  Extra Mile

"There are no traffic jams on the extra mile."

Steve Pavlina, one of the most well-known personal development coaches, says that there is a lot of brainstorming at the bottom of life. That means millions of people compete for the low-hanging fruit, for jobs that barely keep you above water. But on top of that, the competition isn't that tough. Because few ever dare to compete to that level.

So, if you want to be Successful, go the extra mile. Because very few people will ever go down that path and it will create a different world for you.

9. Be Prepared

The irony of life is that there is no secret to Success, yet very few people make it to the top. Why? Because most people are fine with being mediocre. Most people are passive and don't want to make a living on their own terms. Most people never prepare for the game of life.

So whatever you want to win – your career, relationships, fitness, or spirituality – put in thousands of hours of preparation before expecting the rewards.

10. Strong Work Ethics

"Doubt is removed only by action, if you are not working then only then doubt comes"

You may be smart orTalented, but you can never be Successful without developing discipline and consistency. The main tool you should have in your arsenal is an impeccable work ethic. The most Successful people often work 12-15 hours a day - and this is no coincidence.

Difference between Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering

What is the Difference between Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering

There isn't too much of a difference per se between Aeronautical and Aerospace engineering. Aeronautical engineering is more of a subset of Aerospace engineering. Aeronautical engineers focus on building aircraft that fly within the earth's atmosphere.

They get an education in the basics of math, physics, and chemistry with more advanced studies in propulsion, Aerodynamics, sensors, power generation, and other scientific topics. Both, general Aerospace engineers and Aeronautical engineers study these topics, but Aerospace engineers may work on the spacecraft that goes outside of the earth's atmosphere, in the field known as astronautical engineering.

The Complete Guide to Aerospace Engineering

What is the difference between Aerospace Engineering and Astronautical Engineering?

While Aerospace engineers study the aforementioned topics, astronautical engineers have an additional task. They must build and design spacecraft that function both within the earth's atmosphere and outside of it. This includes topics like thermodynamics and quantum physics at the bachelor's level, and things like space navigation, rocket propulsion and orbital mechanics at a graduate level.

What Does Aerospace Mean?

The word Aerospace is a relatively new one as it was first used in the 1950s. The meaning of the word is anything pertaining to the earth's atmosphere and/or outer space.

Aerospace is comprised of two-word roots. Aero has its roots in the Greek word "aer," which means air, atmosphere or gases. You may recognize it from other words dealing with these topics like Aerosol and anAerobic. Space was first used in relation to outer space in the late 1800s. However, it has been used to mean an interval of distance since the 1400s. In this case, it may refer to both.

What Does Aeronautical Mean?

The word Aeronautical means anything related to building or flying aircraft within the earth's atmosphere. It was first used in the 1780s in relation to the burgeoning aircraft of the era - hot air balloons.

The word is made up of a few different parts: Aero, which you will recognize from Aerospace, and nautical. The latter is from the Greek word "nautikos", and means anything pertaining to ships and the sea. Of course, planes and spaceships do not go in the ocean, but they are ships of a sort.

What does Astronautical Mean?

Astronautical relates to the building and flying of aircraft that are meant to go into outer space. It contains the word for the scientists and travelers who pilot and live on these spacecraft, astronaut. The term was first used in the 1920s when the field of space travel became a possibility and interesting in society.

The prefix Astro comes from the Greek word of the same name meaning star. Thus, astronautical quite literally means, navigating a ship into the stars. Pretty, indeed.

The Complete Guide to Aerospace Engineering

What is Aerospace Technology?

Aerospace technology is a broad field since planes, spacecraft and other flying objects have so many components to them in modern times. It includes everything from propulsion systems to airplane wings and helicopter blades.

However, it is much more than just the mechanics involved in flying. It also includes things like security and operational software that pilots use to make airborne vehicles work. Think of every detail that goes into an aircraft - that's Aerospace technology.

What is a Rocket Scientist?

Technically speaking, a rocket scientist isn't an official position. NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, says there are rocket engineers and scientists, but there isn't necessarily one position that combines the two disciplines. However, rocket engineers and scientists may work together on Aerospace projects.

Rocket scientists may be thought of as people who work on propulsion systems for Aerospace projects, or anyone who works in the Aerospace field. How do you become one? Well, since it is synonymous with an Aerospace engineer, the path is very similar. Just get a degree in the topic and you might consider telling people you are a rocket scientist!

History of Aerospace Engineering

The human mind has always looked to the sky to push the limits of what is possible. Well, in this regard you can say that these early dreamers were the first Aerospace engineers, though they were probably very different than the ones we know today. Since the time of Da Vinci, brilliant minds have designed and sketched different flying machines, but never brought them to fruition.

The first humans took flight in the 1780s with the invention of the hot air balloon. Since that moment in time, a slew of inventors attempted to create a propulsion system for hot air balloons, and scientists and inventors began to study gliders which helped them learn about Aerodynamics.

Most Common Job Interview Questions and How should you Answer them

๐Ÿค”  Most Common Job Interview Questions and How should you Answer them

#Hardeep Kaur

Most common job interviews and how should you answer them?

1. Why did you decide to apply to this role?

This question aims to evaluate the candidate’s interest in the role. Are they really motivated to get hired for this specific job or do they just mass-apply to every job ad under the sun? Candidates should show that this application was a conscious decision on their part.

Sample answer:

I have been following your company’s successes for some time now and I know you have a great software development team. I was thinking that this would be the best environment for me to apply the skills I acquired during my internship and Master’s degree. So, I checked your careers page regularly and when I saw this job ad, I thought it was finally time to try my hand. I have experience in web development and I’m really interested in the projects you’re mentioning in the job ad – in fact, one of them was the subject of my thesis. I really think I’m a good fit for the job and can grow even more in your workplace.

2. What experience do you have that would be relevant to this role?

With this question, recruiters can assess whether candidates have truly understood the role’s requirements and whether they think they can do the job. The best candidates will readily explain how their previous experience relates to the job ad.

Sample answer:

In your job ad, you mention you want someone with talent in inbound sales. I was actually a sales associate at a local store in my area for about three years. During this time, I learned how to approach customers and ask them the right questions to understand what they need. I learned to handle difficult customers and solve crises. I can also be persistent without being pushy, which I think is a great asset for any salesperson.

3. Tell me about your experience in …

While similar to the previous question, this question proactively asks about the most important aspects of the role. For example, if a company is hiring for a copywriter, they’ll certainly ask about the candidate’s experience in different types of writing or editing.

Sample answer:

During my time as a marketing specialist in Acme Inc., I got to write a lot of marketing copy. I was solely responsible for writing emails we sent to prospects and customers, including newsletters. I also wrote short copy for social media and, occasionally, articles for our blog.

4. What did you like most about the job description?

This is one of the best HR interview questions to ask to start a conversation on requirements and responsibilities. And, it’s useful to assess how much the candidate has understood the role.

Sample answer:

First, the job description itself was very well-written and gave me a good idea of what the role was about. Second, I really liked the fact that this accounting role involves collaboration with others. I love accounting, but I don’t want to sit at my desk to look at numbers all day – I want to have the chance to work as part of a team where we can exchange opinions and knowledge of new accounting methods and organize the company accounting department in the best way possible.

5. Why are you leaving your current job? / Why did you leave your previous job?

The best candidates will cite good reasons for moving on from their previous role. Being negative or badmouthing their employer is a red flag. Of course, there’s a balance – honest candidates will often give an honest answer, and sometimes, their previous employer really is at fault for the end of their employment relationship. Attitude is what matters in these HR interview questions. For example, it’d be reasonable if a candidate mentioned they left their previous job because their employer wasn’t paying their workers the fair market rate. But, it’d be a red flag if they launched a tirade on what a fraud their previous employer was.

Sample answer:

I really liked my previous job and team. I started as a junior and worked my way up to a team lead in marketing. However, I think that my time in this company has come full circle – I’m actually the one who coaches others while I don’t learn anything myself anymore. Learning is important to me, so I want a new job that will challenge me and help me develop further.

6. What do you know about our company’s product/services?

The purpose of these types of HR questions is clear: the HR professional wants to ensure that the candidate has researched the company and understands what they’re applying to. Candidates don’t need to show deep knowledge of the company and its products, but they should certainly know everything that can be discovered via a simple online search – of course, if they have already used the company’s products/services or they know someone who works there, that’s a plus.

Sample answer:

I know that your company manufactures machinery and factory equipment. Actually, I used your brand when I was working at Acme SA a couple of years ago. I was really impressed with how high-quality and durable that equipment was. I also saw your company has recently opened a new manufacturing branch, a good sign for your company’s success.

7. Tell me about this gap in your resume.

This is one of several very common HR interview questions that may refer to anything “out of the ordinary” or interesting in a candidate’s resume, such as a job that lasted for only a few months or that was seemingly unrelated to the candidate’s background, or an outright gap in the candidate’s employment history. The purpose of these HR interview questions is to clarify these points and make sure there aren’t any red flags.

Sample answer:

After I finished my master’s degree, I started working non-stop for six years. That’s why I decided to take a break from work and travel to other countries to volunteer. This helped me clear my mind and help other people, while acquiring new skills (like communication and organizational ability).

8. Describe the workplace where you’ll be most happy and productive.

This can take other forms, too, such as “What can we do to keep you happy if you were hired?” or “What do you like about your current job that you’d like to find here as well?” These are examples of culture fit interview questions that aim to assess the candidate’s suitability as an employee of the company. Usually, there’s no right or wrong answer. It all depends on whether each candidate is a fit for each individual company.

Sample answer:

I like workplaces that emphasize both autonomy and teamwork. I like collaborating with others and exchanging ideas, but I also want to have flexibility to work uninterrupted for some time. Also, I value the absence of restrictions, such as a casual dress code unless I’m meeting with customers or partners.

9. What are your salary expectations?

Similar HR questions to this have to do with various “technical” aspects of the job, such as willingness to travel or relocate, or ability to follow a shift schedule. HR professionals use this question to ensure they’re not speaking to a candidate who has excessively high salary expectations (or who is generally unable to meet the demands of the job). Candidates shouldn’t be asked to divulge their salary history or current salary – in fact, it’s downright illegal to do so in some jurisdictions – but expectations are a good way to make sure both parties are in sync.

Sample answer:

I’ve done some research on the average salaries for this type of role in my area and I think I would expect this role to pay between X and Y. But I think we can discuss this further at a later time if you think I’d be a good fit for the role. Could you tell me the salary range you have in mind?

10. Do you have any questions?

Regardless of the stage in the hiring process, candidates should always have the opportunity to ask questions themselves so they can decide if the job is a good fit for them. The other reason that HR uses this question is to find out if candidates are truly interested in knowing more. They should ask smart questions about the company, and preferably, questions related to the role, too.

Sample answer:

Could you tell me what the next steps in the hiring process are? Also, I read an online interview where your CEO said that your company wants to work with voice recognition technology. I’m fascinated by that. Will this role involve work on these types of projects?

We hope you liked these HR interview questions and answers. In addition to these typical HR interview questions, you can see many more common or advanced questions in our complete interview questions library. It includes hundreds of questions about the HR interview and the next phases of the hiring process, by role and type.

Follow Your Intersts

Follow Your Intersts.

What does it mean?

#Hardeep Kaur

What if You really dont know what are Your Interests are?

Follow your intersts. What does it mean.

Having hobbies and interests outside of the workplace allows you to explore your passions and become a more well-rounded person. While an interviewer may ask you to elaborate on the education and experiences listed on your resume, they may also ask what you like to do for fun or how you spend your time on the weekends. In this article, we show you how to determine your applicable hobbies and interests, relate them to the job you’re interviewing for and provide you an example to answer the question, “What are your hobbies and interests?”

Take some time to evaluate your extracurricular activities and understand what potential value your personal hobbies and interests might have to your prospective employer. Here are some steps you can use to plan your answer-

1. Select applicable hobbies and interests

While you may have many interests and hobbies outside of work, it is wise to discuss those you can easily relate to your new position. Some common extracurricular activities to mention during an interview include:

Travel

Volunteering, community service or charity work

Sports such as competing on a team or in a league, hiking or other exercise

Creative arts, including writing, music, painting and crafts

Cooking or gardening

2. Identify Skills or qualities

You can select the most applicable extracurricular activities by determining what skills or qualities you developed with those activities. Make a list of your hobbies and interests, and then write out all the abilities and characteristics you gained or improved from each activity. Some options might include:

Planning and organization skills

Leadership skills

Communication and interpersonal skills

Teamwork

Determination and commitment

Creative thinking and problem solving

Patience

Adaptability

What if you really dont know what  are your intersts are?

And here are five ways to start doing that today.

1. Slow Down

This may sound counterintuitive, but you need to slow down and get off the treadmill in order to find your passion. There may be clues all around you that are telling you what you should be doing, but when you’re too busy, it’s hard to see them. It’s in those moments of silence that you’re able to really become more aware of what inspires you.

I know it’s not always easy to slow down, but even a couple of lifestyle changes—things like getting plenty of rest, moving your body, and even practicing a mindfulness technique like meditation—can make all the difference in connecting with your passion. When you take time to nurture your mind and body, you’ll feel more energized and creatively inspired.

2. Be Your Own Life Detective

So you’ve started to slow down and take some time for yourself. Now what?

Take some time to notice the things in your life that bring you the most joy. What activities energize you when you do them? Is it writing? Talking to people? Working on a design project? Being with kids? Over the next week, grab a journal and record how you feel as you’re going through your day-to-day activities, as these activities can be big clues into what your passions are. And don’t dismiss any activities—if you get jazzed up when you color coordinate your closet or design one-of-a-kind pet accessories, that counts.

Another great exercise is to walk into a bookstore and see where you end up. Do you gravitate to the cooking section? Self-help? Sports? Find topics that interest you and go dig deeper into the subject.

3. Give Yourself Permission to Explore

Now that you’ve started to pay attention to which activities and interests make you feel most energized, keep doing more of them and stay away from those that drain you.

When I was figuring out what my passions were, I realized that I enjoyed yoga, dance, writing, and studying holistic health and personal growth. And as I started integrating more of those activities into my life, I was amazed at the amount of inspiration that followed.

Eventually, as you give yourself permission to go down these roads, you’ll start to narrow down your passions more and more, just by doing what feels best to you. For example, while exploring my interests, I enrolled in a Basic Photoshop class at a local design school—then quickly realized sitting behind a computer and designing was not for me. Later on I pursued my interest for holistic health by enrolling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and that road led me to my calling.

Some interests will lead you to your passion while others won’t, but know that that nothing you do is a mistake because your actions are informing you of where you’re meant to go. The more you take action on your areas of interest, the more you’ll begin to discover your passions.

4. Reach Out to People

As you’re going through these exercises, be sure to connect with people who are doing something you’re interested in—maybe it’s the nutritionist at your gym or the owner of the art gallery you stop by every day after work—and talk to them about their experience. I consulted with four different people who had graduated from my holistic health program before I took the plunge and enrolled. Another woman I know worked on the floor of a wine shop and reached out to several founders of wine shops before starting her own.

Ask them questions like, “What is your day-to-day like?” “What steps can I take to transition from where I am now to doing this full-time?” or “What are the things I need to consider before working in this industry?”—anything that might help you learn more about the field.

In addition, doing an internship or apprenticeship, even a few hours a week, is a great way to learn if you enjoy working in a particular field before committing to it. It will also give you a foot in the door when you’re looking for new jobs down the line.

5. Stay Open and Flexible

Finally, know that when you follow your interests, they could lead you on a different path than you ever expected. So, it’s important to stay open and flexible without any attachment to where you’ll end up. A woman I know left her stable financial analyst job to become a journalist at a financial publication and follow her passion for writing. Two years later, she left there to start her own online publication after gaining chops as a journalist.

You have no idea where your interests will lead you if you keep moving toward what feels good to you—but you can be sure you’ll be guided to where you need to be.

And once you’ve found what you love? Well, then you can begin to figure out how to turn it into your reality.

Make Ourselves Well Organised to Work in a Corporate World by Arshdeep Kaur

Make Ourselves Well Organised to Work in a Corporate World

#Arshdeep Kaur

๐Ÿค”How do we Make Ourselves Well Organised to work in a Corporate World?

#Arshdeep Kaur

These days, one of the biggest concerns in the corporate world is the need to grow in your job. As the corporate world is getting competitive every minute, many of us are trying too hard to stay in the league. That goes without saying, we’re already delivering more than what is expected.

Amidst all the hullabaloo, it seems we are not able to have enough time to groom ourselves as per the industry. Simply put, the mundane 9 to 5 job can do much worse than good to our career in the long run.

On the other hand, the business environment is changing dynamically. That means, it is a mandate to adapt to such rapid changes. When we fail to keep updating ourselves, we might as well become irrelevant to the industry.

If you’re way ambitious about your job but have very limited opportunities for growth in your job, there are lesser chances of developing new skills. To overcome this, let’s take a look at 6 sureshot ways with which you can grow in your job

Create your own opportunities

First things first, when you want to develop yourself, you must look forward to creating opportunities — on your own. Take initiative to come out of your comfort zone and understand the working of your organization. See how your business is run and who the key people are. By doing so, you can design your way of working which must be at par with the direction of your organization.

You can also create enough opportunities by building a network within your workplace. Venture out with your team lead and coworkers often, strike healthy conversations at lunch, or call for quick meetings during break times. Discussing official as well as unofficial ideas can help you setup a structured network.

Have some “me” time

Time happens to be the most precious and scarce resource for working professionals. Growing within your organization while working full-time is nearly impossible. When you do not have adequate time for yourself in the organization, the whole idea of career growth can fade away. Let’s take a look at the ways to slack off time in your schedule and go forward to polish yourself.

Take account of your daily activities once you’re at your workplace.

Keep a check on what you’re doing, when you’re doing, and how you’re doing

Balance your time for work as well as personal development.

Companies have now started allowing employees to use up to 20% of work time on their own projects. By doing so, companies are not only providing employees with an opportunity to excel at personality development but also paving a way to increased productivity thereby.

Take up allied projects

Some organizations have projects that differ from their line of business and functional specialties. It is a good practice to check out such projects. Find out more about what is being done and who all are involved.

As you dig deeper, you would be able to upgrade your skill base and expand your perceptions across varied projects. Try and sign up for such projects that are different from your usual business and get hands-on experience.

Strategize your job

Grow in your job by strategizing it. Usually people assume that they are able to strategize their job very well by mere undertaking planning and execution. However, strategizing just does not mean to plan and execute.

Strategizing is the answer to “what” is to be done, i.e. finding out problems and ways to tackle them. It also means figuring out what is going on in the world real-time and learning ways to tackle the scenarios.

Strategizing teaches you to spend less time solving the problems and allot more time to define which problems should be solved. Train yourself while on-job by strategizing your work so that you can have better prospects at career growth.

Build your personal branding

Sometimes when you’re not having any project in your hands, do things that can probably build your personal brand. It is a favourable way to allow yourself to learn and explore new horizons while enhancing your profile.

Polish your personality development skills by signing up for public speaking at conferences or workshops. Post which, an interactive session like Q&A can surely serve the purpose.

After all, building one’s personal brand doubles the chances to join strategic initiatives and move out of your day-to-day job for sometime.

Delegation enhances efficiency

Especially for managers, it is important for them to learn how and when to delegate duties at a certain stage of their career. When they become excellent at operational work, they can start delegating duties to other people.

Delegation not only enhances efficiency but also builds a strong framework for career growth. It is through delegation that managers can divide and allocate the work to their subordinates.

In turn, delegation gives enough space to subordinates to embellish their skills and abilities. They also get a sense of motivation, importance, and authority.
