of this Subject, you should be able to gain a better understanding of the travel, Tourism, and businesses, identify the Profile and travel pattern and motivation of travelers, their needs and requirements, and how resources are Managed to meet their needs.

Subject 2 : Service Quality and Business Communication In this Subject, you will gain an understanding of service quality and the 
concepts in delivering quality consistent service. You will be introduced to the basic principles and practices of customer service, and will acquire service attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed for customer relationship Management and formal business communication. Furthermore, the Subject will equip you with the necessary skills of maintaining good relations with customers and the knowledge of the rules of etiquette in social exchanges.

Subject 3 : Professional Development and Career Planning 

This Subject is designed to introduce you to Professional development skills that will increase your employability Profile. Communication skills and proper etiquette will be taught in this Subject as well.

Subject 4 : Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication

In this Subject, you will learn the nature, role, and value of modern marketing in a wide variety of settings and organizations. This Subject explores general topic areas, which include: principle and concepts of marketing, PEST analysis, marketing mix, marketing strategy, marketing 
research, and sales process and consumer trends. On completion of this Subject, you will gain a theoretical and practical understanding of Managerial marketing decision making.

Subject 5 : IT in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Operations

This Subject defines IT (Information Technology) and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in the context of the travel, Tourism, and hospitality industry. You will learn the evolution of ICT over the past two decades and operational uses of ICT in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality 
industries. On completion of this Subject, you will be able to identify the features of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality and how these affect ICT operational usage.

Subject 6 :  Hotel Operations

The Hotel Operations Subject has been especially designed to familiarize the students with the hospitality industry with specific reference to hotels. The Subject will enable you to pursue in the hotel industry the relevant and primary functions such as front office and housekeeping operations.

Subject 7 : Food and Beverage Operations

This Subject introduces you to food and beverage operations in a restaurant. You will learn the knowledge and skills required to serve in the various types of restaurant, from fine dining to fast-food chain. You will develop the practical skills in setting up the restaurant for business, maintenance of 
restaurant facilities, and serving and preparing of food and beverage.

Subject 8 :Financial Accounting

In this Subject, you will learn how to create financial statements, examine how costs are classified, how budgets are created and the various reports generated. Utilizing key accounting concepts, you will analyze how external financial information is used to evaluate organizational performance and to make effective Management decisions.
