The University Of Hong Kong (HKU) is a public research university in Hong Kong. Founded in 1911, its origins trace back to the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese, which was founded in 1887. It is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong. HKU was also the first university established by the British Empire in East Asia.
HKU is one of the best universities in Hong Kong and Asia. As of 2019, HKU ranks second in Asia by QS and fourth by THE, and around top 30 internationally. It has been commonly regarded as one of the most internationalized universities in the world as well as one of the most prestigious universities in Asia. Today, HKU has ten academic faculties with English as the main language of instruction. HKU also ranks highly in the sciences, dentistry, biomedicine, educationhumanities, law, economicsbusiness administrationlinguisticspolitical science, and the social sciences. The University of Hong Kong was also the first team in the world to successfully isolate the coronavirus, the causative agent of SARS.

HKU buildings are some of the few remaining examples of British Colonial architecture in Hong Kong. Most undergraduate courses are 4-year degrees while the medical and nursing programmes require two and one more year(s) of studies respectively. English is the main medium of instruction, and the University's Senate has endorsed English as the campus lingua franca. Starting from 2012, local students are required to take Academic English courses and Chinese language enhancement courses; however, students who are native-speakers of languages other than Chinese, and students who have not studied Chinese language in their secondary curriculum can be exempted from the Chinese course requirement. Cantonese credit-courses for Mainland Chinese and Taiwan students, and ab initio Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese credit-courses for international and exchange students are offered by the Chinese Language Centre, School of Chinese.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad or IIMA), is a public business school located in AhmedabadGujarat, India. The school has been accorded the status of A Institute of National Importance by Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. Established in 1961, the institute offers master's degree programmes in management and agri-business management, a fellowship programme and a number of executive training programmes. The Institute's founding director was Ravi J. Matthai. Other notable founding figures were the Indian physicist Vikram Sarabhai and Indian businessman Kasturbhai Lalbhai.
The IIMA campus is situated across 102 acres in VastrapurAhmedabad. The campus houses the academic blocks, faculty offices, student and faculty accommodation, the Vikram Sarabhai Library, the R.J. Matthai Auditorium, the Louis Kahn Plaza, the International Management Development Centre, the Kasturbhai Lalbhai Management Development Centre, the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, sport facilities, several food outlets and merchandise stores.
IIM Ahmedabad offers master's degree in management as per the approval of the Indian Institute of Management Bill, 2017. The two-year full-time residential programme (MBA-PGP) and the one-year full-time residential programme for experienced professionals (MBA-PGPX) are the two programmes under which students are awarded a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
