Build Confidence and Destroy Fear

The Enemy is Fear. We think it is Hate; but, it is Fear
Confidence is a thinking process that starts in our own mind. Fears, insecurities, stresses, and feelings of depression are also emotions that have been created by our thought processes. All of these emotions start as a thinking process that we allow to flow like a river in our mind. We can make a decision as to which process of thinking we are going to allow to flow in our mind. We can allow the process of confident thinking to flow or we can allow the floods of fear to flow. We have a right to choose which process we are going to allow to flow in our own mind.
One thing about which I am confident is that everyone wants to take their life to the next level. We can’t change our life if we can’t change our thinking process. Generally, we only want to think whatever we learn or see around us in previous 5 to 10 years. But it is important to overcome those thoughts and experiences.
For example, one of the greatest fears for most people is the fear of public speaking. However, studies in this area have found something quite interesting. No matter how afraid of public speaking a person is, if that person is required to regularly stand up and speak to a group, eventually the person will lose their fear of speaking and become good at it. Therefore, if we want to reprogram a fear response fast, we should put ourself in a situation where we are faced with the fearful event again and again. This will go into our subconscious mind and quickly reprogram our fear response.
Following are some common practices which I think can help everyone to build confidence:
• Always bring a smile on your face when you feel angry or in fear, because it is difficult to do.
• Try to put people in perspective, people are much more alike than they are different.
• Make eye contact and speak up
