Travelling need not necessarily mean going for fancy expensive tours. Just sit on the wheel and go for a long drive...it will add in your experience.. ✨✨✨To continue with my #travelstories ...today I share the remaining part of Haridwar journey.
After a life threatening #Randezvous with #Rapta or the Flash River,we finally reached Haridwar. The city was completely immersed in water ๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐๐, be it hotel, mandira or ghats...
After finishing the official work my father decided to stay in Haridwar that night as it was still raining unstoppably. Next morning it was decided to return taking an alternative route to avoid #Raptas..⚡⚡
The next town was Bijnaur..before that we crossed a ๐ค๐ค sleepy village..The road was filled with ๐๐...MERKY..MUDDY..SMELLY RAIN WATER...
Infact there was no road ๐ฃ️๐ฃ️...it was a water body right in the middle of the path...๐ข๐ข๐ข
It was difficult to understand the depth of the pitch..so our driver asked one of the few villagers standing by..."Dada, how should we go about..?"(kaise paar karein ise)
The villager replied "Dhaure-Dhaure"....
The reply was a little unclear so the driver asked another..."Dada, how deep is the pit..how to cross it?"( Gaddha kitna gehra hai..kaise paar karein)...again came the same reply "Dhaure-Dhaure"..
This time we all heard it..yes he said "dheere-dheere"...may be it sounded different due to change of dialect..(that's what we thought ๐ญ๐ญ)
And so the Ambassador ๐๐๐ stepped in the MUDDY POOL..... dheere-dheere that is slowly-slowly..
WOAH ๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ
hardly had the vehicle covered 50 mts... it sat in the big, wide ,dirty pool with its engines ceased..
๐ญ๐ญ
MERKY muddy smelly water gushed in from all the sides..and we were soaked in it upto our waists..sitting..๐ง๐ง
Once again...just like the last time...we were in deep trouble ๐ญ... although with a difference no Stander-By came to our rescue...out of the fear of touching the dirty water...๐ซ๐ซ
A State Corporation Bus ๐๐ passed by and on seeing the car , stuck.. offered to pull out the car. They tied ropes and pulled out car along with us in it..๐ฅต๐ฅต
We were really disgusted with the whole experience..the unfriendly behaviour of villagers and the stinky foul smell emanating from us... ๐๐๐
#RandezvousWithWater...had reached such a saturation point..that every time, we crossed a river or saw a water body...my younger sister started crying..."we will not survive!" (Ab hum nahi bachenge)...
The happy part..
HUM FIR BACH GAYE.. ๐๐
(We again survived)
WE DEFINITELY REQUIRE TO WORK ACCORDING TO OUR SURVIVAL INSTINCTS...but the fear of unknown, prejudice, narrow-mindededness should not stop us from living life fully.
TRAVEL FOR SURE IS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE FOR HIGH-HEADED PEOPLE...
#HappyTravelling✈️✈️✈️
PS : Dhaure-Dhaure in the local dialect meant "kinare Se"...from the sides...probably off-roading..
we got it all wrong ... ๐๐๐
