 Top Competitive Exams After 12th Science (Non-Medical): Career Paths & Opportunities

COMPETITIVE EXAMS AFTER 12TH SCIENCE (NON MEDICAL)

There are a lot of opportunities for PCM and PCM students right after class 12th. You can get into engineering, medicine, architecture or basic science streams. There are many highly reputed institutions in these fields. We will discuss some of them here:

You can opt for various exams regarding non medical fields and even which are not into non medical fields.

Engineering entrance exams would include:

1. JEE Main

It is a national level exam conducted by CBSE  to offer admission to students who wish to opt for courses into NITs, IIT s . JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced.

2. JEE ADVANCED

Only JEE Main cleared students can appear for JEE Advanced . The examination is conducted by IITs . This  admission is to students to all UG engineering & other science courses offered at 16 IITs in India & ISM Dhanbad. The exam shall be  2 papers of 3 hours each. The question paper will be available in Hindi & English both. Each question paper will have 3 separate sections as Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

3. BITSAT

This exam is conducted by Birla institute of Technology and Science .The campuses are located in Pilani , Goa and Hyderabad.It is an online examination to offer admission at BITS Pilani engineering, Pharmacy, Information Systems & other courses.

4.VITEEE

This exam is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology .The eligible applicants will get admission to numerous B Tech degree courses through VITEEE

DEFENSE EXAMINATIONS

1.NDA & NA entrance Exam - It is a national level defense entrance examination. After qualifying NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy) the eligible applicants will get admissions at Army, Air Force & Navy according to their % during training period.

2.Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Scheme - This is an entrance exam for those applicants who are interested in the Indian Navy B.Tech program.

OTHER LAW EXAMS

• CLAT - If you wish to apply for the Common Law Admission test , You can pursue it by filling the application form online on the clat official.CLAT is associated with the Top Law Colleges of the country and would help you in getting an opportunity to be admitted in the top tier National Law Universities.

• LSAT - if you wish to apply for the Law school Admission test (LSAT) ,There Are  various colleges that are associated with LSAT which you can have a look at by watching at the official website of LSAT.

• AILET - National Law University, Delhi organizes  All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) every year. This exam is conducted for the candidates who want to seek admission in UG & PG law courses that are offered by the national law university and its affiliated institutions.

• Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) - is a university level test is a university level entrance exam. SET is managed by the Symbiosis International University. The university constituent institutes i.e. Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Noida & Hyderabad offers BA LLB & BBA LLB.
