1) Why to Study Abroad?
1. Student gets an opportunity to travel to different countries and explore its culture, people, tradition which is an add on experience. Not only the country in which a student studies but also to its neighboring countries.
2. To experience a very different pattern of education. Every country has a different style of education and student studying in abroad gets a chance to explore new methodology and technology of study which is again an overall new experience.

2) How to Apply?
1. Process of applying in abroad universities can take up to 2 years so students need to plan ahead.
2. There are several ways for applying in foreign universities like:
1. Students can apply for this program while completing their secondary education. In this program student will have universities level courses and exams where he/she has to earn college credit.
2. This program and its credit score is recognized by many foreign universities for admission
3. Universities or colleges in abroad gives placement to those candidates who have a score of 3 or above n a scale of 5 as it shows that you have a mastered level knowledge and skills while still in high school.
1. Some foreign colleges and universities consider SAT score for admissions.
2. Along with SAT score there are other factors which are considered by foreign universities for admission like High school GPA, Academic transcript, letter of recommendation (LoR), Interviews and personal essays.
3. There are 3 sections in SAT exams namely, maths, reading and writing and minimums +score is 400 and maximum 1600.
4. The best practice for the SAT is the PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10. These tests measure the same skills and knowledge as the SAT.

Scholarship are provided on the basis of various criteria like academics, achievements, hobbies, Talents, affiliations with various groups or career aspirations.

There are many universities in abroad which provides scholarship to the students so that they can study in that university. Different universities have different criteria for providing scholarship like academic excellence, certain age limit etc.
For example: In Sweden, scholarship covers tuition fees, living expense, some travel grants and insurance or
In Switzerland, more scholarships are provided for PhDs as compare to those offered for bachelors or masters.

Foreign government as well as national government scholarships is available to the students who want to pursue abroad studies. Government has their own criteria and one of the most important one is the academic excellence.
ü Sports scholarship :
If student is good at a sport or is interested to be a part of any college/university team then on basis of their sports skills they can also get scholarships from college/universities and at times many local groups or organizations also offer such scholarships.
2. Specific scholarships:
These scholarships are provided on the basis of a specific criteria like to on the basis of gender or minorities or physical disability, learning disability or health conditions etc.
3. Need- based Scholarship :
These are financial aids provided to the students for completing their education who cannot afford study because of low income or if they have any disabilities.
4. Student Education Loans:
The most common form of financial help is taking education loan from government or private bank and repayment starts generally after 6 months (grace period) from the completion of the course
