Abundant Job Opportunities for Fresh Data Science Graduates across Diverse Sectors in India
After finishing their Data Science courses, the majority of students find employment as data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and risk analysts. Also available are short-term courses in data science, data analytics, and data engineering from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). In order to technically up-skill data scientists, machine learning experts, and software development engineers in new growth sectors, NSDC recently partnered with Scaler, an EdTech firm.
There were 14 students in the 2021–22 MTech in Data Science class at IIT Guwahati, and all of them were hired by major IT companies like Accenture, Axtria, Cisco, HCL, IBM, Microsoft, MTX, Oracle, and SAP Labs. In 2022, IIT Guwahati graduates were paid a salary of up to Rs 38.00 lakhs.
Data science courses are becoming more popular, according to Bhupesh Daheria, CEO of the Mumbai-based Aegis School of Data Science: "The course is a real-world problem solver across all industries and business that runs through data assimilation and interpretation. These classes teach students how to create models that commercial banks and Fintech start-ups can use to determine a customer's loan eligibility. By examining the data, students pursuing studies in data science can also do their part to stop crimes like child trafficking. Additionally, students studying data science are taught how to develop recommendation systems that let online retailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Netflix, and YouTube offer customised goods and content to their customers, boosting their revenue and profitability.

आईआईटी गुवाहाटी में डेटा साइंस क्लास में 2021-22 एमटेक में 14 छात्र थे, और उन सभी को एक्सेंचर, एक्सट्रिया, सिस्को, एचसीएल, आईबीएम, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, एमटीएक्स, ओरेकल और एसएपी लैब्स जैसी प्रमुख आईटी कंपनियों द्वारा काम पर रखा गया था। 2022 में आईआईटी गुवाहाटी के स्नातकों को 38.00 लाख रुपये तक का वेतन दिया गया था।
मुंबई स्थित एजिस स्कूल ऑफ डेटा साइंस के सीईओ भूपेश डहेरिया के अनुसार, डेटा साइंस पाठ्यक्रम अधिक लोकप्रिय हो रहे हैं: "पाठ्यक्रम सभी उद्योगों और व्यवसायों में एक वास्तविक दुनिया की समस्या हल करने वाला है जो डेटा आत्मसात और व्याख्या के माध्यम से चलता है। ये कक्षाएं छात्रों को सिखाती हैं कि ऐसे मॉडल कैसे बनाएं जो वाणिज्यिक बैंक और फिनटेक स्टार्ट-अप ग्राहक की ऋण पात्रता निर्धारित करने के लिए उपयोग कर सकते हैं। डेटा की जांच करके, डेटा साइंस में पढ़ाई करने वाले छात्र भी बाल तस्करी जैसे अपराधों को रोकने के लिए अपनी भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, डेटा विज्ञान का अध्ययन करने वाले छात्रों को सिखाया जाता है कि सिफारिश प्रणाली कैसे विकसित की जाए जो अमेज़ॅन, फ्लिपकार्ट, नेटफ्लिक्स और यूट्यूब जैसे ऑनलाइन खुदरा विक्रेताओं को अपने ग्राहकों को अनुकूलित सामान और सामग्री प्रदान करने देती है, जिससे उनके राजस्व और लाभप्रदता को बढ़ावा मिलता है।
