Career After Class 12th (PCB)
Following is the list of what students after 12th can do who have chosen science biology as their stream:
1. MBBS :
Most of the students who opts for science biology in 11th and 12th wants to become doctor and for that they do MBBS (Bachelors of medicine, Bachelors of Surgery). Also along with graduation, post graduation is also required, to add on to the existing skills.
MBBS course duration is 5.6 years.
2. Veterinary Science :
This course is related to animals. Students, who wish to become Doctor of animals, opt for this course.
3. Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) : 5.6 year long course
4. Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS)- who wants to become dentist and post graduation course is also required. It is a 5 year long course.
5. Pharmacy:
Students interested in doing job in Pharmaceutical companies or who wish to become a lecturer in Pharmacy colleges can do B Pharm after 12th along with M Pharm. The time duration for doing both the course is 6 years that is 4 years for B Pharm and 2 years for M Pharm.
6. Pharm D:
It is a combination of B Pharm, M Pharm and MBBS. And the duration of this course is 6 years and also its quiet difficult as compared to other courses.
7. Bachelors in Science ( B Sc):
Students can simply do B Sc after their 12thand can then do M Sc. Course duration will be 3years for B.Sc and 2 years for M Sc.
People can do jobs in government as well as private companies and can also do research, teaching etc.

§ BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management)
§ Retail Management (Diploma)
10. Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) :
Students who are unable to get admissions in MBBS, BDS and BAMS may apply for this course. It is a 4.6 years long course and also includes a 1 year unpaid internship so that makes it a 5.6 year long course.
11. Bachelors of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) :
Same as 10.
12. Integrated Law Course
13. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) :
It is a 4.6 year long course in which 6 months internship is also included. It is a job oriented degree and one can find jobs in Gyms, clinics, schools & colleges, sports team and organization etc.
14. Bachelor of Audiology Speech Language Pathology (BASLP):
It is a 5 year course in which 1 year internship is included. This course is related to audiology, hearing disorder, auditory system, speech language therapy, hearing implants etc.
After completing the course, Graduates will be able to find a job in the following sectors- marketing of hearing implants, rehabilitation clinics (for people suffering from hearing disorders), Clinics and Hospitals, Special Schools and Educational Institutes (for children suffering from hearing disorders) and Hearing aid manufacturing industries.
15. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy :
It is a 4.6 year long course. Occupational Therapy deals with patients having physical, mental, emotional and neurological limitations. It aims at improving the life, condition and rehabilitation of such handicapped and limited people through different modes of treatments such as- exercises, functional training, aiding devices and equipment, ergonomic training and environmental restructuring & adaptation
