Everyone wishes for success and also admires people who are successful. But more or less often degrade or hinder themselves from thinking big. People generally find it difficult to think that they are capable of such success and some cultures even think that they are not allowed to dream big.

Why is it important to Dream Big?

If everyone in the world thought it taboo to think big or dream big, how would the world have been? Do you think there would have been any success stories? Any rags to riches stories? It is a fact that some people dare to think big and dream bigger than they succeed in life like no other.

Thinking big will give you #Motivation to do things that might seem difficult to achieve. It will build in that drive that you want to achieve things in life. While thinking big is from a practical point of view, Dream is not so. You can even dream of being the President of the United States. Dream Bigger because only if you aim for the stars can you land on the moon.

To be able to think big and dream bigger, you first need to clearly #Define what you really want. Only if you determine what you want can you put a direction to your thoughts and dreams.

Next, you need to #Plan Big and identify a course of action on how you will achieve this goal of yours. The plan can be as elaborate as possible, just not too limited.

While you set out to execute your plan, do not be afraid of #Failure. Failures are lessons in your path, without which you learn nothing. If you fail, get back up and start again but make sure to not make the same mistakes again.

#Patience is key here, your thoughts are big and your dreams bigger. Big dreams take time to achieve and it is essential to not lose your motivation and be patient in achieving your goals

Don’t let anyone hinder you or tell you anything is impossible. Where there is a will, there is always a way!

Every person Dream of achieving something in their life but for that you have to really work hard, but working hard doesn’t mean you have to become a Bookworm (#Kitaabikeeda) #किताबी कीड़ा . With a lot of hard work and dedication you also need to play Smart. Dream Big so that you can achieve Big and create new opportunities for yourself and turn problems into opportunities too.

Imagine a person reading books day and night for becoming a Pilot. He has all the knowledge and learnt all the skills too, but what if he is not a situation handler, will he be able to control the plane during an emergency situation when he is supposed to stay calm. If he has just read how to fly the plane, how will he be able to save someone’s or his own life. Imagine a person clearing all prelims and mains for IAS and now going for IAS interview and he is being asked can you touch your nose with your tongue out. If he has no humour, he will think he has to touch his nose with his own tongue, if he is not Smart enough to quickly think and touch his nose with his finger with his tongue out. Such situations when a person has done all the hard work for his Big Dream he must know that it doesn’t bring success either as he has always been not Smart enough to fulfil his / her Big Dreams.

So, if your elders teach you to be good at studies remember one thing, you have to be good at everything but you have to be honest and pure at your heart. Smart work doesn’t mean you will do cheating in exams, but it means that you use your brain, your senses to sort things out and interpret things differently when they are said in a different manner. That is what is expected from a person who is Dreaming Big to become real Successful.

Everyone has their own definition of leadership and so do I. With the constant passion for becoming a leader, it also teaches with time how to be a successful leader. Anyone who has big dreams lands up either achieving those dreams or some dream which is one level below the actual one. Take it with an example when we were dreaming of achieving 90% in 12th and our teacher used to say “only if you work hard and put your 105% efforts maybe then you may achieve somewhere around 90%”, and this was actually true.

Success in itself is very subjective. It can mean many things to many people. Some think success is a hefty bank balance, others think it is fame and recognition, and others think it is happiness. Success in simple terms means, achieving one’s goals in life.

For this, we need to make sure to first have goals set that we would want to achieve in life. Once we identify and set goals for life, it is very essential to believe in them and in your ability to achieve them. A person who believes he is too weak or unskilled to achieve their own goals are never going to achieve it, because they will try only as much as they think they can achieve.

Most of us have dreams in life where we want to be successful, earn lot of money and asset, gain recognition and fame and lead an easy and comfortable life, but it is not all who believe it is possible. Most people just think of it as something far away from their hand and something which is very utopic for them. These people would not really work for this success as in their heart they believe that they are not capable of that success. But it is the other section of people who aim for the skies and who believe it is achievable as well.

Sure, our accomplishments are the result of our struggle and hard work, but there is something that ignites your hard work into tremendous success. When you tell yourself, "Yes, I will, I will, and I will," this confidence will be your winning coin in winning the huge that you've always wanted.

Look at the story of the Ambani empire. A person who started with very humble beginning, and had gone to Yemen at 16 years old, where he filled in as a dispatch representative with A. Besse and Co.

Subsequent to working in Dubai for quite a while he later came back to India where he established the Reliance Commercial Corporation with a small capital of Rs. 15000. He set up the business in association with Champaklal Damani from whom he split in 1965. After that the growth of Reliance is history to all of us and as per the current list is the 10th richest person in the world.

Such a success story would not have been possible if Dhirubhai Ambani did not believe he could achieve the unachieved.

Everyone wishes to be happy in their life. Whomever you would ask would reply they want to be happy as a long-term goal in their life. But does it really mean that happiness would be the by default choice on all occasions?

Several studies have demonstrated that happiness is rated as one of the most important goals across countries and cultures. There are even apps that help us be happier and to raise our moods. But studies have now come up with reports that happiness as a choice depends on the cultural aspect as well. When you look at western culture, people believe that personal happiness is something everyone deserves and everyone chooses happiness as their first priority in life. But, when we look at the eastern cultures, happiness here depends on many other factors and not necessarily on personal pleasure or satisfaction.

Apart from that, it is not required by everyone to be happy at all times, there are times when people choose to be sad, and other times to be angry or frustrated. These emotions are also required because only then can someone actually truly enjoy happiness. Without all these other emotions, happiness would not make any sense.

The movie InsideOut portrays this in a very beautiful manner, where happiness is trying to overcome all other emotions but later on it is evident that all emotions have a part to play and the default emotion has to keep changing as per the situation or else things are going to get messed up.

Thus, happiness is required by everyone and there are different parameters to determine happiness. But it is a fact that happiness in itself does not have a meaning without sadness, anger, or frustration. Happiness can be a choice for people, but it cannot be a default choice

Motivation is about giving individuals the resources they need to accomplish their objectives, as well as ensuring that the individual's and the organisation's objectives are compatible to some .

As a leader, you should have an open mind about human nature. It would be much easier to make decisions if you are aware of the various interests of your subordinates.

Leadership and motivating qualities are required by both employees and managers. A successful leader must have a clear understanding of what motivates people.

Three Important Steps in Motivation:

1.Determine what the team members want. They must want something - new skills, a promotion, work fulfilment, and so forth - and they must want it badly enough to take action. An individual who has no objectives can not be motivated

2.Determine how this need can be met. There has to be a way for the people you're accountable for to get what they want. It's pointless if there's no way to get it. An important step in motivating individuals is to show them the path towards achieving what they want.

3.Decide on an appropriate award. People must be aware that their actions will be rewarded if they are successful. Many people have objectives and see opportunities to achieve them, but they do not feel that their efforts will be compensated. People are not exactly the same in terms of what they desire and need, but you must understand and recognize their different nuances while considering how to inspire your team members.
