Dream Big like Smart Leaders

Dream Big like Smart Leaders

Never let it be said that to Dream is waste of one’s time, for dreams are our realities in waiting. In Dreams we plant the seeds of our future.

The path to success may seem to be full of hardships and torture, but there are no short-cuts to it. It is actually a straightforward path based on hard work, sincerity, dedication, devotion and perseverance, but is made so by deficient vision on our mind’s myopic eyes. And to be genuinely successful one has to Dream big.

Every human being on this earth has a dream. No matter what dreams you are trying to pursue, regardless of whether it is to save humanity, to end world hunger, to overcome poverty, or to simply get a promotion or to switch to a better car, the truth is that your dreams matter.

It is always important to Dream big and aim high like smart leaders because-

1. It keeps you Motivated and Inspire you to strive hard and Smart-

When you Dream Big, one of the most obvious benefits is that you will feel driven, and your efforts will be aligned to your dream.

A lot of people fail to reach their goals because the goals they set are not exciting and motivating enough.

When you set a Goal that is big enough and exciting enough, motivation will come from within you.

2. Foster Creativity:

When something is big and exciting enough, it forces you to think outside the box to reach it. And this is why thinking and dreaming big can boost your creativity.

3. It Compels you to work hard and Smart:

Pursuing Big Dreams requires you to get out of your comfort zone.

You see, if you keep doing what you’re comfortable with, you will never grow. You will be getting the same results over and over again. Until you change what you do and move out of your comfort zone, nothing changes.

In order to make a change, you need to do something different. And this, my friend, is why you should aim high.

4. It Attracts Opportunities

When your Dream is big enough that it inspires others, rest assured that it will also attract Bigger Opportunities.

You become what you think about most of the time. If you are thinking and playing it small, you will attract small opportunities. But when you are thinking and playing big, big things will come to you.

This is why successful people who have accomplished extraordinary results have Big Visions.

A Bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch beaking, because her trust is not on the branch but on its Own Wings.

Always Believe in Yourself

A Dream is your Creative and Innovative Vision for your life in the future. A Goal is what specifically you intend to make happen. Dreams and Goals should be just out of your present reach but not out of sight. Dreams and Goals are coming attractions in your life.

Brands become Sources of Motivation for Consumer Happiness by Anshika Motwani

Do Brands become Sources of Motivation for Consumer Happiness

Anshika Motwani

Motivation asks the question ‘why? about human behavior. For example, why do they prefer McDonald’s hamburgers to Burger King?, Why are you reading this book? Why he uses only Apple Mobile phones? etc.

The ironic and counterintuitive thing is that the best brands are not actually about the person or company that creates them at all. Instead, these brands are all about what that company’s customers want and how the company’s brand makes those customers feel about themselves. As I’ve said many times before: “A good brand makes people feel good. A great brand makes people feel good about themselves.”

Motivation can also be described as the driving force within individuals that impels them to action. Brands are increasingly making efforts to try and improve the health and happiness of their consumers. More than just offering wellness “zones”, brands are turning to activations, activities, and promotions that are powered by acts of kindness, empathy, and even lighthearted moments.

Understanding the motivations behind your buyers, how they interact with your eCommerce site, and where they are in terms of their decision-making process is crucial for any seller.

Here are some eye-opening statistics about today’s Digital Marketplace.

50-90% of the buyer’s journey is complete before a buyer reaches out to sales.

67% of the buyer’s journey is now completed digitally.

25% of buyers reveal their interest to vendors at the early stages of the journey.

#Quick Decision-Making Skills

Only a person with clear Goals and Mindset can make quick Decisions. The Decision-making Skills of a person depend on his mentality and IQ Level, the better he is able to think and grasp, the better Decisions he can make. It is expected from a business person to take quick Decisions but the Decisions must be wise and fruitful. Making good Decisions quickly will determine the quickness of your reflexes, the speed of your punches, and quite frankly, your power in the ring. The slower your Decisions, the easier it will be for your opponent to hone in on you-- don't get caught in analysis paralysis.

Taking a quick Decision doesn’t mean those vague Decisions which would hamper the situation would be acceptable. We see that leaders are usually having quick Decision-making Skills because they deal with people and work with them, they know their people very well so they can make judgments easily too. These Skills are sometimes acquired by time and experience and sometimes come naturally.

Use Big Goals to Help You Grow Better

Bhawana Aggarwal

It is essential to set some specific Goals in our life if we want to get succeed. It was found in the research that 90% of the time, setting specific and challenging Goals results in high performance. Following are the reasons why Goals are so effective:

1. Motivation: Setting a Goal in our life means we already interpret the results of our efforts, which constantly motivates us to achieve those Goals.

2. Focus: In this changing environment, every day we can find some new technology, new trends and ideas. But setting a specific Goal helps us to stick to our ultimate objective.

3. Learning: We set some Goals with the intention of achieving them, and a certain outcome will happen. Using Goals in this way allows us to learn things fast. Which ultimately helps us to grow fast.

How to set a Personal Goal?

To set a lifetime personal Goal we should follow the steps:

Step 1: look into the Big Picture:

The first and important step is to set a Lifetime Goal. We should think about the bigger picture and consider the following things while setting a lifetime Goal:

Career: Before setting a lifetime Goal it is important to think about our career and ultimate way of success.

Finance: It is essential to think about the financial need to accomplish the Goal and Return on investment after achieving the Goal.

Attitude: Positive attitude towards the objective is most important to accomplish it. A negative attitude always hindered our progress.

Pleasure: Everything we want to do; it is very important to be happy. If we are happy with our life choices then it becomes easy to learn more and get succeed.

Step-2: Break it into Small Goals:

Once we set our lifetime Goals, it is necessary to break them into small parts.

Firstly, convert it into two years or five years plan. Then break into six months plan or monthly plan.

After that, we should create a To-do list of our daily task, this accomplishment of small task motivates us to achieve our final Goal. One way to keep momentum going is to have consistently greater Goals. Having a Goal makes it much easier to Focus on the Tactics that will help you Hit your Goal and Avoid getting Distracted by the latest Shiny Object.

Reason to Fly First Class

Here is the Reason to Fly First Class

Anshika Motwani

You see them breeze through the security checkpoint as you wait in line, see them walk through the frosted glass doors of the airport lounge as you look for a seat in the gate room, and watch them drink a cocktail as you take your carry-on to the back of the aircraft. Elite passengers have it better than those of us trapped in coach, but are the benefits of flying first class actually worth the extra cost?

Free drinks -with more and more airlines charging for beverages these days, the promise of free drinks — even with beer! — is tempting. Most airlines provide free beer, liquor, and wine to first-class travelers, but you can consult with your airline to see what other perks are available on your flight.

More vacation time-Yes, first-class passengers have to deplane first, which saves you a few minutes. The real advantage of first class is that you're more likely to arrive at your destination rested and refreshed, particularly if you're on a red-eye or long-haul flight, since first-class seats are larger and more comfortable than those in coach.

Ability to work-The more spacious seats in first class mean that if you’re planning to work on that big presentation during your flight, you can actually do so.

Over-the-top amenities-On some airlines, the amenities for first-class passengers are truly something special.Etihad Airways has a three-room “residence” that comes with a butler, en-suite shower, and a personal inflight chef; smaller private apartments are also available in first class

Use Goals to Help You Grow Afreen Islam

#Use Goals to Help You Grow

Afreen Islam

Dreams are Meant to be Followed.

Life is Leant to be Lived.

As man appears on this earth not of his own accord, he has to live somehow. But he can make this living delectable or miserable according to his own whims and ways. It is, indeed, pitiable that many people just drag their lives.

People are often inquisitive about what sets a person who is professionally successful and flatter him apart from someone who is not. Your career doesn’t just blossom into a success story overnight because as we all know “Rome was not built in a day”. It takes time and consistent efforts reaching milestones you set for yourself inside and outside of work.

The purpose of personal development goals is to improve a particular aspect of your character or abilities. Either short or long-term, personal development goals need to be realistic and should be road mapped for how you plan to achieve specific objectives that makes your career to reach pinnacle. They enhance the person that you are and make your candidate profile more impressive to the people around you.

Following are the factors which explains that how setting us the goals make you grow:

Psychological encouragement: This factor plays a vital role in moulding one’s personality. In other words, we can say that we can programme our mind by setting up the goals. Setting up a goal and trying like hell to hit it forces you to learn. And sometimes, the information you learn will be more important than the actual result.

Focus. There are hundreds of things that you could be doing to improve your business right now, and new tactics to try are popping up every day. Having a goal makes it much easier to focus on the tactics that will help you hit your goal and avoid getting distracted by the latest shiny object.

Learning. A goal is essentially a hypothesis. You set it because you think by achieving it a certain outcome will happen. Using goals in this way allows a person to quickly learn what is (and isn’t) driving growth for his career.

Make your Attitude your Allies
Donia Elizabeth

To harness the power of a good outlook, you must first master the art of making your attitude your ally. How do you use your personality to your advantage? Making your mood your ally can seem to be a simple task. It's unlikely that you'll need any persuasion to give it a shot. What have you got to lose? It is something you are probably comfortable with if you are used to letting your mindset guide you.
People frequently use their mindset as an ally. They do it most of the time without ever noticing it. Regrettably, the majority of the time, the mood is pessimistic. It's always easier to see how a pessimistic outlook can help you than it is to see how a good attitude can help you. It's human nature to prefer the negative to the positive. Pessimistic attitudes seem to flood the world, while optimism is slowly drowning.
Whatever your thoughts are about how an optimistic outlook will help you in your life, the bottom line is that making your attitude your friend is a good thing. If you start using it in your life, you can't ignore the strength of making your mentality your ally. You should be able to start making your mentality your friend using the ideas discussed here.
Nothing will deter you from reaping the benefits of maintaining a good outlook and making it your friend until you set your mind to it. It all starts with the first move.
You must make the decision to devote yourself to the process. You must make the decision to become a positive individual. You must make it a priority to become a better individual and then follow a positive outlook.

Make your Attitude your Allies

Build Confidence and Destroy Fear Bhawana Aggarwal [MBA IIM-s] Manager FinTech AirCrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd.

Build Confidence and Destroy Fear

Bhawana Aggarwal

The Enemy is Fear. We think it is Hate; but, it is Fear

Confidence is a thinking process that starts in our own mind.  Fears, insecurities, stresses, and feelings of depression are also emotions that have been created by our thought processes.  All of these emotions start as a thinking process that we allow to flow like a river in our mind.  We can make a decision as to which process of thinking we are going to allow to flow in our mind.  We can allow the process of confident thinking to flow or we can allow the floods of fear to flow.  We have a right to choose which process we are going to allow to flow in our own mind.

One thing about which I am confident is that everyone wants to take their life to the next level. We can’t change our life if we can’t change our thinking process. Generally, we only want to think whatever we learn or see around us in previous 5 to 10 years. But it is important to overcome those thoughts and experiences.

For example, one of the greatest fears for most people is the fear of public speaking. However, studies in this area have found something quite interesting. No matter how afraid of public speaking a person is, if that person is required to regularly stand up and speak to a group, eventually the person will lose their fear of speaking and become good at it. Therefore, if we want to reprogram a fear response fast, we should put ourself in a situation where we are faced with the fearful event again and again. This will go into our subconscious mind and quickly reprogram our fear response.

Following are some common practices which I think can help everyone to build confidence:

Always bring a smile on your face when you feel angry or in fear, because it is difficult to do.

Try to put people in perspective, people are much more alike than they are different.

Make eye contact and speak up

You are What Your Dreams Are

Donia Elizabeth

Dreams are not those which you see in sleep, Dream is something that does not let you Sleep

All people Dream, it is said that Dreams are the window to what is going on in your subconscious mind. People usually think about their passions and goals constantly if they are very much invested in them. Thus your mental computer is running on that info day in and day out. This makes it very much etched into your mind that the Dreams one has are going to be revolved around that.

It is said that what you think becomes your Dream. Dreams actually mirror our thoughts and it is not easy to etch something into our thoughts and subconscious. It requires so much effort. You need to be constantly thinking about it and visualizing it and keep repeating it to yourself. Thus a passion or a goal of a person, if it is something that keeps constantly troubling you and driving you to achieve it, the more likely it is to come in your Dream.

Once this Dream is passed into your subconscious, you will start to see the changes in the world around you. You will relate everything to your Dream, find better solutions and methods of achieving it, and so on. Now, you are completely invested in that Dream and your drive to achieve it is at the peak.

With this motivation and drive, it is for sure that you will achieve your goal and Dream. This is because your entire life now revolves around this goal and there is no rest for you until you achieve it.

Thus, You are what Your Dreams are.

Habits of Big Dreamers by Shruti Priya MBA IIM-s

Habits of Big Dreamers

Shruti Priya

“We grow Great by Dreams; all Big Successful Persons are Dreamers.”

We have been listening from our childhood that we should Dream high, Dream about something bigger than ourselves, Dream to achieve as big as we could, and you will go higher with it. Whether you want to be an entrepreneur, an explorer who wants to see every corner of the earth, or a writer, I think that aiming high and shooting big is the way to go. The one thing that has no limits is your Dreams. Whatever your Dreams are, it all comes down to how you want to reach them. Without Dreaming big, you cannot become successful in life.

Most successful people are big Dreamers. People who set big Dreams make efforts to achieve them are more likely to become successful. But what differentiates these big Dreamers from ordinary people? The habits of people differentiate them from others. Ordinary people have small Dreams like getting a job or promotions, whereas big Dreamers think about changing the world.

The habits are the determining factors of how resilient the Dreamer is. Following are the habits that make someone a Big Dreamer:-

•Determined to Work-

There are times when you can fail, but standing again and putting in the required efforts and not giving up quickly are the signs of big Dreamers. They face difficulties with confidence.

•Working in Bits

Big Dreams are not fulfilled in a day. These people’s Dreams break their Dream into small plans that are easy to achieve and constantly check the program. They always calculate the associated risk and then take the next step with a backup plan.

•Minimizing External Distraction-

Big Dreamers train their minds to reduce distraction which may be responsible for lowering the efforts made to achieve the Dream.

•Ask Questions-

Successful people have inquisitive minds. They ask lots of questions about what they encounter and observe in their lives, listen to others, and then develop insights that can help accomplish their big Dreams.

•Regular Exercise –

Exercising is needed not only needed by the body but also for the healthy brain. A regular dose of exercise keeps the body and brain working in harmony. Read books, mediate to nurture the talents you possess.

All Men Dream: but not equally. Those who Dream by Night in the dusty Recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was Vanity: but the Dreamers of the Day are Dangerous Men, for they may act their Dream with Open Eyes to make it Possible.
