Do Happiest People are most Motivated People
Shruti Priya
What does being #Happy mean?
Is it getting #Success, being with family, getting new posts, learning new things, vacation with friends? There are many reasons why a person can feel Happy. People feel Happy when they subjectively believe that they to be satisfied.
Have you ever realized that when you overworked yourself, you crave vacations? People are most motivated when they come back from vacation. Why? What did they get on vacation that suddenly they became motivated to work?
The reason is Happiness, whether it’s a weekend holiday or a long vacation. People spend time with their family, friends or fulfill their internal goals, which gives satisfaction and motivates people to work for their external purposes like success. There is much evidence showing that a Happy person thinks positively and can work more creatively and with enthusiasm than others. Even the companies who keep their employees Happy and satisfied and provide them with appreciation and rewards motivate them to work more. The Happiest people do more and get it done better than most. A person who is Happy and positive not only can be productive but also have a positive response to others. There can be many reasons behind this theory that the Happiest are most motivated. One such reason can be the physiological changes that occur in one’s body when one is Happy. People sense changes in their energy levels, not only physically but also mentally.
Happiness increases Optimism, Positive Thinking, and Perceived control, but this might affirm false beliefs. If the task does not fulfill or gets worse can lead to severe breakdowns for the person. This doesn’t mean a person shouldn’t be Happy, because at last being Happy is the utter motive and can help bring your best. Therefore, the Happiest people are more motivated because they feel satisfied and keep them glued to their Goals.
Happiness is a Direction, Not a Destination
Happiness Depends Upon Ourselves
A Great Obstacle to Happiness is to Expect Extra Happiness
It is not how much Happiness we have, but how much we Enjoy, that makes Happiness
Happiness is not something Ready Made.

How to Apply for an International Airline Job?
Shruti Priya
The Airline industry requires employees for multiple positions, so landing a Job in the industry with a suitable skill set is not difficult as Airlines have diverse positions available for recruitment. Also, the requirements and the hiring process differ due to a wide variety of Jobs and Airlines. However, some elements will be similar why applying for an Airline Job. The Job roles available in an international Airline are:
•The Pilot- Pilots fly and navigate Airplanes, helicopters, and other types of Aircraft
•Air Traffic Controller - They manage the flow of Aircraft into and out of the Airport Airspace, guide Pilots during takeoff and landing, and monitor Aircraft as they travel through the skies for security purposes.
•Flight Attendant - they ensure the safety and comfort of the passengers
•Line Service Personnel- Responsible for organizing movements in-and-out of the Hangar, fuels, and services of all the Aircraft
•Airport Manager – This person works to keep the Airport viable
•Accountant- Federal Aviation Rules and Internal Revenue Tax Rules often clash, account takes care of these matters

•Aviation Department Manager – They are responsible for the proper functioning of the operations, supervising staffs, managing expenditures, and enforce the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules,
There are many more positions available in Airlines, and people from diverse backgrounds can apply for them. First, and foremost you must be clear about the work you are applying for. Before applying for any international Airline, one must be clear about the position one wishes to use.
To apply for the Airlines, one must go through the eligibility criteria of the Airlines, which are available on their official websites and even on 3rd party websites. It is essential to check the requirements because all Airlines are not open to all nationalities.
When you are eligible to apply, search for the openings available in the Airlines. After this, go to their official websites, browse the specific requirements for the particular Job role, and make sure you fit every criterion. The criteria may vary from region to region. For example: In Europe and the USA, a school pass out can apply, but besides education, the applicant must be certified by accredited training agencies approved by the aviation authorities. Whereas In Asia a fresher is eligible to apply for the Job.
Now to apply for the desired Job, below are the steps that can be followed:
1.Today we can locate all kinds of Jobs on the internet. You can go to the Airline’s website and browse for the Job/Employment/career tab and then apply for the openings available
2.These Jobs are also available on general or 3rd party sites, so you can browse these sites as well.
3.Suppose you are not able to find the Job on their website or any other sites. In that case, you can directly contact Airlines either through call or directly mailing to the Airline’s human resource department to inquire about the openings. Sometimes some Jobs might not be posted yet.
4.You can put your resumes on the Job-seeking sites attached with an attractive cover letter to help land Airline Jobs.

As an HR Manager what all things, you can do for your subordinates so that they feel Motivated and Happy to do their work at best?
Afreen Islam
As an HR Leader what all things, you can do for your subordinates so that they feel Motivated and Happy to do their work at best?
Being an HR Manager and an HR leader of Aircrews Aviation Pvt Ltd., it is my duty to look after my people and to make the best out of the resources and skills I am having. I am dedicated to working with my people and ready to help my subordinates as and when required. I am open to solve any queries which they have in an effective way and I make sure all their doubts get cleared so that the work they do is up to the mark and they also enjoy the work.
The things that I do for my subordinates to make them feel motivated is:
1. Communication is the key for any HR Manager. I feel extremely happy to know how my subordinates feel while working with me. I make sure that I do not overburden them and make them feel free to reach me anytime if they need my help.
2. I give them a purpose for work so that they feel motivated and work hard. If they know that whatever they are doing is for the benefit of all and for their learning then they work better. It becomes easy to execute task and clarify on company’s goals.
3. I always show them that I genuinely care for them as it is my duty that whosoever works with me knows that they are following a leader and not a boss. Their problems would always be heard and they will always be given a solution.
4. I appreciate them when they do good. I also interact with them in some informal meetings sometimes. That makes everyone feel good and happy at the same time and builds a strong two-way relationship.
5. I always take my subordinate's opinion on a work that seems too technical or needs to have clarity. This ensures that new ideas also come out and valuable insights can be seen.
For every leader, it is important that they motivate their subordinates so that they may work harder to achieve the company’s goals. Never try to be just a leader, try to be a leader and a motivator, that is how you become a perfect example of an effective leader who is liked by everyone.
Concluding with the thought that
“Human resource isn’t a thing we do, it’s the thing that runs our Business.”

Importance of Co-Branding and Cross-Selling in Management
Co-branding refers to the partnership by two or more brands strategically so as to achieve mutual benefits from them. The benefits can be a halo effect or Marketing benefits. This is important because in an era where many companies are popping up with a variety of products and services all around. It is important to create a brand for the product in the market so as to increase recall and attract customers. To do this companies have to highlight their unique selling points so as to generate leads. Co-branding helps hereby collaborating with an established brand that has complementary services to your brand.
Cobranding has three main benefits to the organization that can be stated as below:
#Credibility: The credibility of the company increases when they collaborate with another respectable business. The businesses would be able to highlight each other’s assets and strengthen the position of each of them in the market.
#Extend Reach: Due to this collaboration, the businesses are getting a reach into the customers of the other business as well, thus increasing the reach of the company. This would enable a company to increase its reach into an area where they previously did not have access.
#Efficient Marketing Budget: Marketing is a costly affair and requires substantial investment. In co-branding, the Marketing budget is usually split between the parties and thus doubling the budget and again opening better opportunities for the efficient usage of the funds.
Cross-Selling whereas refers to selling a different product or service to a customer so that it increases the value of a sale. Here, if a toothbrush is sold with toothpaste, it is called cross selling. This is because a person who buys toothpaste would need a toothbrush to use it, thus the products are complementary and it increases the collective value of the sale.
For example, if AirCrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd. decided to sell a small training module on how to deal with Aviation interviews along with their Visume product, it would be an example of cross-selling.
The benefits of this can be as follows:
#Customer Loyalty: Cross-selling would be created in such a manner as to solve customers' problems and make things easier for them. This effort would be acknowledged by the customers and they would be more loyal to the brand as such.
#Improves Profitability: Cross-selling is usually done for products that are not moving on the shelf. This would also entail some discounts on the overall product which would make the profit earned lesser than the actual. But this is still increasing profitability because the expected profit on one of the products was actually zero as there was no sale expected.
#Generate Leads: Cross-selling creates better customer satisfaction and creates a word of mouth Marketing where they would suggest the same to their friends and family through referrals or any such scheme. This would in turn help in generating leads for the company

Brand Matters in Education Too
Why IIM student get 2/3 times better Package than non-IIM
Now in India brand is everything, people are preferring branded and trademark products instead of unknown non-branded products. So is the situation of Indian colleges. A student getting a PG Degree from a reputed college is paid higher than any other university student. This is happening especially with the IITs and IIMs. CAT being the toughest exam, every student desire that he does so much hard work so that he can get admitted in any of the 20 IIMs. Reason being that In India, the basic problems with any low-tier colleges are quality of teaching, lack of exposure to practical training & strong (or resourceful) alumni network, and limited access to the industry network. More than anything, there is lack of employable skills that affect the employability chances of the students and graduates from the low-tier colleges. Even if you compare the CVs of a final-year student (or a graduate) from a Tier 2/3 college and his/her counterpart from Tier 1 college (IIMs), you will see striking differences.
In India, the college brand does matter to a great extent, especially when it comes to getting your first job or first three years after graduation even if you are from a science, engineering, or humanities background.
Thus, as a brand, you represent the different brands you are associated with, in this context, your education. These are the reasons why the MBA graduates from the Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges end up with job offers of INR 2 – 3 Lacs per year in comparison to a student from an IIM who can expect an annual package of INR 17 – 18 Lacs on average.

The Real Difference between being Successful and being Happy
Shruti Priya [MBA IIM-s]
“Success is getting what you want; Happiness is wanting what you get.”- Ingrid Bergman. Talking about the literal meaning, Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, whereas Happiness is the state of being Happy. Still, the real meaning of these two words varies from one person to another, about criteria one uses to evaluate themselves. We think that real Success is about Happiness and easily confuse Success for Happiness. Most of us work harder and for hours believing that this can provide us with all the Success and joy we want in our lives, but many types of research have shown that this is not that simple.
We use Success as a tangible metric used to measure Happiness, but Happiness is a priceless emotion that comes automatically. Below are the points which show the difference between being Successful and being Happy:-
•Some believe that securing wealth, power, and fame is Success and can make them Happy, while others think that maintaining good health, peace of mind and healthy relationship leads to Happiness and can help in their Success
•People assume that earning a lot of Money, achieving greater Success or buying materials like an expensive house, cars, etc., or getting promotions can provide Happiness and satisfaction. These things can deliver pleasure but only for a short duration, or we can say temporary Happiness.
•A Success seeker is more into reaching their Goals and gaining approval from others, but getting Happiness out of these desires is uncertain. Having less money but having self-respect, doing things right, having a clear conscience, having quality relationships, and positive thinking can be Happier than the most Successful ones and vice-versa.
•Therefore Happiness and Success are something how you see them and not how others tell us.

How a Workplace Leader can Create a Happy and Satisfying Environment for its Subordinates
-A subordinate can impact the environment, performance, and profit of any company. If employees are not happy in their work environment with unfriendly workers can reduce their confidence and job satisfaction. Therefore, creating a comfortable and satisfying work environment is essential for the success of any company.
A team of subordinates that can lead to success comes down to their support in many ways; it can be emotional, physical, or intellectual. The more an employee feels valued and important at their company, they can adjust to the environment more easily. Below are some of the ways by which leaders can maintain a positive working culture.
•Encouraging your subordinates: Praising and giving compliments when appropriate or thanking them for doing excellent jobs can make them feel valued and essential for the company. Because when they think that they are an important part of the team, they are more productive and enjoy their job, increasing their willingness to work.
•Mental health: If an employee is not working up to the mark or has committed a mistake, leaders can go for a different approach instead of punishment. Leaders should try to understand the employee’s needs and find where things go wrong as much as possible. Also, if a leader notices that any employee is depressed or not acting the usual way, they can help the person by getting the necessary resources.
•Effective collaboration: Building efficient and robust communication between employees is essential. As a leader, it’s a responsibility to ensure subordinates collab well and has good communication between them. To retain the best, one needs to give a workplace that is fulfilling for them. Leaders can go for different techniques such as using a dedicated system for new projects, posting team or individual appreciations in public, or including co-workers in making decisions.
•Comfortable environment: Leaders need to Take care of the hygiene and physical health of the employees. A clean and attractive ambience can help in building a good relationship between the subordinates and the leader. Providing comfortable chairs, awareness about hygiene, or flexibility to work from where they want to, allowing them to decorate their workplace as per their choice, etc.
•Set Goals: Setting up goals at work helps in productivity; leaders must help their employees set up realistic goals and provide them with all the resources to achieve a quantitative result.

Mindful Leadership
Leadership is usually used interchangeably with managing and Leaders are mistaken as Bosses. Leadership actually is extremely different from both these. Leadership involves having a vision and taking vision forward by transferring that enthusiasm and vision right down to the followers. In a corporation found out , a pacesetter has got to be mindful if they seek results from their subordinates.
Many people have different Motivations for Leading. Understanding why you would like to be a pacesetter is a crucial aspect to be a mindful Leader.
Some Leaders are motivated by #Skill Development. they need to be a pacesetter after assessing their Leaders. They feel that they might also shine at what they are doing a minimum of also as they are doing . This motivation comes from challenging work, problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Other Leaders are motivated by #Relationships. they might want to be during a position where they will motivate others and supply advice to their subordinates etc. These people attempt to inspire others to try to to their best. These Leaders need to first believe the work they are doing and would love their job to be a pacesetter
Other Leaders are motivated by #Ego. There are still yet some people that would like to be a pacesetter for they have power and approval. this type of motivation has got to be balanced and in check , lest it turns into a negative thing.
Leadership thanks to the necessity for Power, Control, and Fame are possible in managers or Leaders. this sort of motivation is that the most vital to balance. Once you identify this as your motivation to steer , there must be additional steps taken to balance out the motivation. the rationale for this being, if the motivations like power, Control, and Fame aren't controlled, it might seriously harm the organization. The Leadership style would shift to an authoritarian style during a short span of your time . There would be animosity between the subordinates and therefore the Leader. to stay this in restraint , the love for control and approval must be extended to the love for the organization. this is able to confirm that the choices and therefore the actions taken by the Leader are within the best interests of the organization.
Leading to be Served or to Serve? this is able to be an important question within the self-reflection journey of a pacesetter . to research this one should check out their own attitude, actions, and aspirations
#Attitude are often an enormous indicator of what sort of Leader you're . If you constantly end up thinking that employment must be done by your subordinate because they're here to ease your work instead of this work would help them grow or it might become their contribution to the corporate , then the attitude itself points out your motivation to steer .
#Actions are the follow-through of attitude. If the Leader doesn't have enough time to cater to the requirements of individuals around them and is concentrated on only their own agenda and tasks, the Leadership inclines towards being served.
#Aspirations of a private also point to identifying this. people that wish to serve have their aspiration to impact people around them. This impact would be beyond the daily deliverables or their own individual ambitions or needs. the power of a private to seem and strive faraway from self-focus is that the key to identifying an individual resulting in serve.
A Leader who has their motivations and priorities within the right place would be willing to place their individual interests behind the organization’s interest. Such people would have realized the importance of achieving the organization’s goals. When the organization’s goals are achieved it might successively help in achieving personal goals and therefore the goals of the people around you wish colleagues, subordinates etc.
These questions are a mirrored image of what sort of Leader you'd be. Such quite a mirrored image is important for you to spot the way to mold yourself to be an honest Leader.

Do Motivation and Happiness go Hand in Hand?
Anshika Motwani
“The days that make us Happy make us Wise.”
It is difficult to strive for achievement and internal satisfaction if you lack Motivation in life. How would you expect to pass the test if you aren't inspired to study? And how would you be successful if you spend more of your time focused on external Motivations (pleasing others for recognition or success) rather than internal Motives (focusing on a target for personal Happiness)?
Happiness may be a Motivator and some people can derive Motivation from experiencing other positive Motivators such as a sense of achievement, recognition, and a sense of belonging. The physical environment affects perceptions of Happiness. Their opposites—pain, hunger — create unHappiness. However, evidence indicates that such a significant shift in conditions has only a short-term effect on your sense of satisfaction. If you have adapted to the current environment, it becomes the expected 'natural,' and your level of satisfaction returns to their biological norm. This is true with both natural disasters and major windfall profits.
Motivation fosters ambition to accomplish a goal, such as losing weight or finding a new career, and as you excel, you are pleased with the outcome. So, if you keep Motivating yourself and setting and achieving new goals, you'll feel better than you did before. And, while achievement is the source of inspiration, pleasure is the intrinsic emotion that drives it. So, to ensure that both your satisfaction and productivity levels are increasing, set small goals for yourself and learn to be content with steady progress.
Motivation is essential for effectively Managing the struggles that life throws at us. Highly driven individuals, for example, are organized, and they assign specific hours in their lives to various assignments, giving themselves deadlines to finish each one. An example would be waking up on time and getting out of bed. If you like what you do, you may be more inspired to get out of bed and into work on time, but if you are uninterested, you can end up pressing the 'Snooze' button a couple of too many times, wasting needless time.
Without Motivation, success is unachievable. And while success is the vision, it is essential to remember that Happiness is the most important part of the equation, without Happiness, there will be no sense of purpose to your success.
