Happiness is an Attribute of an Individual whereas Success can be Attributed to an Individual or to a Team or Group. Happiness is a Goal that many people Aspire to. Most people also have a strong Desire to be Successful in Life and they tend to believe that through this Success they will automatically become Happier.
Success and Happiness both are important for a person. Most of the time, success and Happiness are interrelated. People believe that these two are the same things with different spellings; they think being successful is being Happy. This doesn’t mean that the people who are not successful cannot be satisfied. Success is measured in comparison with others, whereas Happiness is “just being Happy.” A person’s Happiness cannot be measured; it is often subjective and cannot be quantitative.
In my opinion, Happiness is more important because it brings a sense of self-satisfaction, essential for living a healthy life. In contrast, success may bring joy, But it is nothing at the loss of Happiness itself. Even if you are successful but not Happy, then what is the use of this success. If success is more important, then the richest or most successful would have been the Happiest, there would be no glare on a billionaire’s face, and poor or less prosperous would have never known what being Happy means.
Happiness is always the final goal of a human being, whether successful or not; if one learns to find Happiness in the smallest of things and start enjoying life to the fullest, one can be Happy and successful. Finding Happiness first can boost your success. Though success is essential, can give power, name, and money that we all strive for, but it is not the most important achievement of one’s life.
As said by our ancestors, one cannot take riches with them to the gave, success too cannot be carried, but memories never fade away, so it’s our responsibility to make them the Happy ones. So, stay Happy; success will come to you. Start being content in every situation will easily clear the difficulties, and one day you will be successful.
Success is not the key to Happiness. But Happiness is the Key to sure Success. If you Love what you are doing, You will be Super Successful
#Success or #Happiness - What is Most #Important #Management #HR #Depression #Support #Listen #FindSupport #Motivation #Patience #Therapy #Happiness #Mentalhealth
In what Ways you can help a Depressed Person to be Happy and Self Motivated
What Efforts you can do for them
Depression is something that has just recently got recognition and has been acknowledged as a disease. If someone gets diagnosed with depression, it is not necessary that all of them experience it in the same way and the symptoms might differ from person to person. Symptoms may be them being sad and tearful always, or they might appear more pessimistic about what the future holds. Their talks might be distant and they might talk about guilt and worthlessness. It can also be seen that they may get irritated or upset fast, have trouble sleeping, seem less energetic, less interested in their appearance, huge changes in their eating habits like excessive eating or loss of appetite.
There is a limit to what medications can do, hence to make sure that they are Happy and self motivated, we need to do what all possible from a social perspective like:
#Listen: One important factor that can work wonders is the art of listening. Just listening to the person would give them the trust that they can open up and talk about their issues with these people Such an opening up would be the first step to helping them come out of depression and begin to feel Happy with their life. Simple listening alone is not the key, we must validate their feelings, ask questions to them, show a positive body language as well.
#Find Support: Most people do not voluntarily go for therapy. In many parts of the world, people still think of therapy as a taboo topic. Thus, helping the depressed person reach the right support would create a lot of positive change in the situation. While arranging support, it is also necessary that you support them all the way through as well.
#Motivation: It is just as important to motivate them to continue the therapy as it is for motivating them to initiate the sessions. Asking them about their sessions and how has it been working out, dropping them off to the sessions once in a while will all contribute to the motivation factor.
#Care for Yourself: When you try to take care of someone affected with depression, it is possible that you yourself might lose it and catch the depression phase yourself. Thus, it is important that you are able to take time out to think about yourself and practice self care and take time out to regain your own energy.
#Patience: When dealing with someone facing depression, we need to be as patient as possible with them. Even successful treatment would take a lot of time to show effect. Thus, patience is key to deal with them and to make them feel comfortable and Confide in you. This Consistency would Boost Happiness and Confidence.
Believe in Yourself. Your Limitation—It's only your Imagination.
Work Smart Not Hard. Push Yourself, Because no one else is going to do it for You.
Covid-19 In many states, beds of hospitals are Full [not Empty] due to increasing cases of Coronavirus.
Doctors are advocating to Treat Mild Corona Patients at Home.
A person suffering from Mild Symptoms of Corona can be Treated at Home.
Despite having Corona, if you do not feel any difficulty in breathing, then your Treatment is possible at Home.
Treating COVID-19 at Home: Care tips for you and others
Providing care at Home for a person sick with COVID-19? Or caring for yourself at Home? Understand when emergency care is needed and what you can do to prevent the spread of infection.
If you have Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and you are caring for yourself at home or you are caring for a loved one with COVID-19 at home, you may have questions. How do you know when you need emergency care? How long is separation required? What can you do to stop the spread of germs? How can you support a sick person and manage your stress? Here you need to know.
Home remedies
Most people who become ill with COVID-19 will only experience mild illness and can be cured at home. Symptoms may last for a few days, and people who have the virus may feel better in about a week. Treatment is aimed at relieving symptoms and includes rest, fluid intake, and painkillers.
However, older adults and people of any age with existing medical conditions should call their doctor as soon as symptoms begin. These factors place people at greater risk of becoming seriously ill with COVID-19.
Follow the doctor's recommendations about your or your loved one's care and home isolation. Talk to a doctor if you have any questions about treatment. Help the sick person get groceries and any medicines and take care of your pet if needed.
It is also important to consider how caring for a sick person can affect your health. If you are aged or have an existing medical condition, such as heart or lung disease or diabetes, you may be at a higher risk of serious illness with COVID-19. You may consider finding another person to separate yourself from the sick person and provide care.
Emergency warning signs
Carefully monitor yourself or your loved one for worsening symptoms. If symptoms appear to worsen, call a doctor.
Doctors may recommend the use of a home pulse oximeter, especially if a sick person with COVID-19 and COVID-19 symptoms are risk factors for serious illness. A pulse oximeter is a plastic clip that attaches to a finger. The device can help breathe by measuring how much oxygen is in the blood. The need for hospitalization may increase if reading is below 92%. If the doctor recommends a pulse oximeter, make sure you understand how to use the device properly and when a reading doctor should call.
If you or a person with COVID-19 receive emergency warning signs, immediate medical attention is required. Call 1075 or your local emergency number if the sick person cannot be wakened or you see an emergency signal, including:
Trouble breathing
Chronic chest pain or pressure
New complication
Blue lips or face
Inability to stay awake
Yellow, brown or blue skin, lips or nail beds - depending on skin tone
Protect others if you are sick
If you are sick with COVID-19, you can help prevent the spread of infection with the COVID-19 virus.
Stay home from work, school and public areas as long as it can get medical care.
Avoid using public transport, ride-sharing services or taxis.
As much as possible, stay isolated in a room, away from your family and other people. This includes dining in your room. Open the windows to keep air circulating. Use a separate bathroom if possible.
Avoid shared spaces in your home as much as possible. When using shared space, limit your movements. Keep your kitchen and other shared spaces well ventilated. Stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from your family members.
Clean clean surfaces, such as doorbobs, light switches, electronics, and counters, in your separate rooms and bathrooms every day.
Avoid sharing personal household items, such as dishes, towels, bedding, and electronics.
Wear a face mask when approaching others. Change face mask every day.
If it is not possible to wear a face mask, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow while coughing or sneezing. Later, discard the tissue or wash the handkerchief.
Wash your hands repeatedly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Protecting yourself by caring for someone with COVID-19
To protect oneself while caring for someone with COVID-19, the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommend:
Keep your hands clean and away from your face. Wash your hands repeatedly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in close contact or in the same room as a sick person. If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Wear a face mask. If you need to be in the same room with a sick person and cannot wear a face mask, then he can wear a face mask. Stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from the sick person. Do not touch and handle your mask while you are using it. If your mask becomes wet or dirty, replace it with a clean, dry mask. Throw away the used mask and wash your hands.
Clean your house frequently. Every day, use sprays or wipes to clean the house, often to clean touched surfaces, including counters.
However, if you are caring for someone with COVID-19, you do not need to stay home if:
You have been fully vaccinated and have no symptoms of COVID-19.
You had COVID-19 within the last three months, recovering and living without symptoms of COVID-19.
Coping with stressful care
As you or your loved ones recover, seek emotional support. Stay connected with others through texts, phone calls or videoconferences. Share your concerns. Avoid too much COVID-19 news. Relax and focus on enjoyable activities, such as reading, watching movies, or playing online games.
You can also feel stressed as you take care of a loved one who is ill with COVID-19. You can worry about your health and the health of the sick person. It can affect your ability to eat, sleep and concentrate, as well as worsen chronic health problems. It may also increase your use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs.
If you have a mental health condition, such as anxiety or depression, continue with your treatment. If your condition worsens, contact your doctor or mental health professional.
For your care, follow these steps:
Maintain a daily routine, which includes a shower and clothes.
Take a break from COVID-19 news, including social media.
Eat healthy food and stay hydrated.
Do the exercise.

Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
Stretching, deep breathing or meditation.
Focus on enjoyable activities.
Connect with others and share how you are feeling.
Taking care of yourself can help you cope with stress. It will also help you to support the recovery of your loved one.

Is it getting #Success, being with family, getting new posts, learning new things, vacation with friends? There are many reasons why a person can feel Happy. People feel Happy when they subjectively believe that they to be satisfied.
Have you ever realized that when you overworked yourself, you crave vacations? People are most motivated when they come back from vacation. Why? What did they get on vacation that suddenly they became motivated to work?
The reason is Happiness, whether it’s a weekend holiday or a long vacation. People spend time with their family, friends or fulfill their internal goals, which gives satisfaction and motivates people to work for their external purposes like success. There is much evidence showing that a Happy person thinks positively and can work more creatively and with enthusiasm than others. Even the companies who keep their employees Happy and satisfied and provide them with appreciation and rewards motivate them to work more. The Happiest people do more and get it done better than most. A person who is Happy and positive not only can be productive but also have a positive response to others. There can be many reasons behind this theory that the Happiest are most motivated. One such reason can be the physiological changes that occur in one’s body when one is Happy. People sense changes in their energy levels, not only physically but also mentally.
Happiness increases Optimism, Positive Thinking, and Perceived control, but this might affirm false beliefs. If the task does not fulfill or gets worse can lead to severe breakdowns for the person. This doesn’t mean a person shouldn’t be Happy, because at last being Happy is the utter motive and can help bring your best. Therefore, the Happiest people are more motivated because they feel satisfied and keep them glued to their Goals.
Happiness is a Direction, Not a Destination
Happiness Depends Upon Ourselves
A Great Obstacle to Happiness is to Expect Extra Happiness
It is not how much Happiness we have, but how much we Enjoy, that makes Happiness

As an HR Manager what all things, you can do for your subordinates so that they feel Motivated and Happy to do their work at best?
Afreen Islam
As an HR Leader what all things, you can do for your subordinates so that they feel Motivated and Happy to do their work at best?
Being an HR Manager and an HR leader of Aircrews Aviation Pvt Ltd., it is my duty to look after my people and to make the best out of the resources and skills I am having. I am dedicated to working with my people and ready to help my subordinates as and when required. I am open to solve any queries which they have in an effective way and I make sure all their doubts get cleared so that the work they do is up to the mark and they also enjoy the work.
The things that I do for my subordinates to make them feel motivated is:
1.Communication is the key for any HR Manager. I feel extremely happy to know how my subordinates feel while working with me. I make sure that I do not overburden them and make them feel free to reach me anytime if they need my help.
2.I give them a purpose for work so that they feel motivated and work hard. If they know that whatever they are doing is for the benefit of all and for their learning then they work better. It becomes easy to execute task and clarify on company’s goals.
3.I always show them that I genuinely care for them as it is my duty that whosoever works with me knows that they are following a leader and not a boss. Their problems would always be heard and they will always be given a solution.
4.I appreciate them when they do good. I also interact with them in some informal meetings sometimes. That makes everyone feel good and happy at the same time and builds a strong two-way relationship.
5.I always take my subordinate's opinion on a work that seems too technical or needs to have clarity. This ensures that new ideas also come out and valuable insights can be seen.
For every leader, it is important that they motivate their subordinates so that they may work harder to achieve the company’s goals. Never try to be just a leader, try to be a leader and a motivator, that is how you become a perfect example of an effective leader who is liked by everyone.
Concluding with the thought that
“Human resource isn’t a thing we do, it’s the thing that runs our Business.”
Importance of Co-Branding and Cross-Selling in Management
Co-branding refers to the partnership by two or more brands strategically so as to achieve mutual benefits from them. The benefits can be a halo effect or Marketing benefits. This is important because in an era where many companies are popping up with a variety of products and services all around. It is important to create a brand for the product in the market so as to increase recall and attract customers. To do this companies have to highlight their unique selling points so as to generate leads. Co-branding helps hereby collaborating with an established brand that has complementary services to your brand.
Cobranding has three main benefits to the organization that can be stated as below:
#Credibility: The credibility of the company increases when they collaborate with another respectable business. The businesses would be able to highlight each other’s assets and strengthen the position of each of them in the market.
#Extend Reach: Due to this collaboration, the businesses are getting a reach into the customers of the other business as well, thus increasing the reach of the company. This would enable a company to increase its reach into an area where they previously did not have access.
#Efficient Marketing Budget: Marketing is a costly affair and requires substantial investment. In co-branding, the Marketing budget is usually split between the parties and thus doubling the budget and again opening better opportunities for the efficient usage of the funds.
Cross-Selling whereas refers to selling a different product or service to a customer so that it increases the value of a sale. Here, if a toothbrush is sold with toothpaste, it is called cross selling. This is because a person who buys toothpaste would need a toothbrush to use it, thus the products are complementary and it increases the collective value of the sale.
For example, if AirCrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd. decided to sell a small training module on how to deal with Aviation interviews along with their Visume product, it would be an example of cross-selling.
The benefits of this can be as follows:
#Customer Loyalty: Cross-selling would be created in such a manner as to solve customers' problems and make things easier for them. This effort would be acknowledged by the customers and they would be more loyal to the brand as such.
#Improves Profitability: Cross-selling is usually done for products that are not moving on the shelf. This would also entail some discounts on the overall product which would make the profit earned lesser than the actual. But this is still increasing profitability because the expected profit on one of the products was actually zero as there was no sale expected.
#Generate Leads: Cross-selling creates better customer satisfaction and creates a word of mouth Marketing where they would suggest the same to their friends and family through referrals or any such scheme. This would in turn help in generating leads for the company
Now in India brand is everything, people are preferring branded and trademark products instead of unknown non-branded products. So is the situation of Indian colleges. A student getting a PG Degree from a reputed college is paid higher than any other university student. This is happening especially with the IITs and IIMs. CAT being the toughest exam, every student desire that he does so much hard work so that he can get admitted in any of the 20 IIMs. Reason being that In India, the basic problems with any low-tier colleges are quality of teaching, lack of exposure to practical training & strong (or resourceful) alumni network, and limited access to the industry network. More than anything, there is lack of employable skills that affect the employability chances of the students and graduates from the low-tier colleges. Even if you compare the CVs of a final-year student (or a graduate) from a Tier 2/3 college and his/her counterpart from Tier 1 college (IIMs), you will see striking differences.
In India, the college brand does matter to a great extent, especially when it comes to getting your first job or first three years after graduation even if you are from a science, engineering, or humanities background.
Thus, as a brand, you represent the different brands you are associated with, in this context, your education. These are the reasons why the MBA graduates from the Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges end up with job offers of INR 2 – 3 Lacs per year in comparison to a student from an IIM who can expect an annual package of INR 17 – 18 Lacs on average.
The Real Difference between being Successful and being Happy
Shruti Priya [MBA IIM-s]
“Success is getting what you want; Happiness is wanting what you get.”- Ingrid Bergman. Talking about the literal meaning, Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, whereas Happiness is the state of being Happy. Still, the real meaning of these two words varies from one person to another, about criteria one uses to evaluate themselves. We think that real Success is about Happiness and easily confuse Success for Happiness. Most of us work harder and for hours believing that this can provide us with all the Success and joy we want in our lives, but many types of research have shown that this is not that simple.
We use Success as a tangible metric used to measure Happiness, but Happiness is a priceless emotion that comes automatically. Below are the points which show the difference between being Successful and being Happy:-
•Some believe that securing wealth, power, and fame is Success and can make them Happy, while others think that maintaining good health, peace of mind and healthy relationship leads to Happiness and can help in their Success
•People assume that earning a lot of Money, achieving greater Success or buying materials like an expensive house, cars, etc., or getting promotions can provide Happiness and satisfaction. These things can deliver pleasure but only for a short duration, or we can say temporary Happiness.
•A Success seeker is more into reaching their Goals and gaining approval from others, but getting Happiness out of these desires is uncertain. Having less money but having self-respect, doing things right, having a clear conscience, having quality relationships, and positive thinking can be Happier than the most Successful ones and vice-versa.
•Therefore Happiness and Success are something how you see them and not how others tell us.
